However, know what the waterproof rating actually means and don’t assume it means you can swim in the ocean with it, you should not.Cons: Though the watch faces are great, the weather logo/symbol doesn’t change. This may not happen on all phones, so for context, I use a Samsung A42 (android phone). These disconnects can become fairly annoying, but this sort of thing tends to happen with cheaper smartwatches. Also, most functionalities will continue to work if the watch gets disconnected from the phone. However, Alexa, the ability to log your fitness/health stuff on the app, and updates to the weather will not work until you reconnect within the app. You cannot reply to messages/texts through the watch, you can only read them.Overall, this smartwatch is well worth the price! It is so much cheaper than the big brands, like Samsung or Apple and offers very similar features and functions. The only major downside is when it disconnects. The Alexa feature works just as you’d expect, too. So, I would recommend this smartwatch to anyone who wants one but can’t afford or doesn’t want to splurge a ton of money on one.

With a rating of “IP68 Waterproof” I was hoping for more, but playing in the surf one afternoon was enough to kill it. It worked while I was wearing it, but later that evening it wouldn’t turn on and wouldn’t charge. Sadly, the watch died.Here’s where the fantastic customer service comes in. I wrote to the manufacturer and explained the situation. Through a series of emails, they ran me through some diagnostics – just to make sure the watch wouldn’t come back on. After a few email exchanges, they agreed the watch was dead and promptly sent me a replacement watch at no charge. I received the watch within a few days, synced it to the app, and I was once again recording my fitness and back on track.I am thrilled with this watch and it has helped me get into shape. The customer service is polite and attentive, and the replacement watch is working like a charm. This time, I will be far more protective around water.
