Very nice-looking and sturdy crib. I love that I can use it for a baby and for a toddler by replacing one side with a different and smaller/shorter bar, which has to be purchased separately.I would recommend this crib but would advise buying the separate bar right away for when the baby gets older, just in case, for some reason, it’s not available years down the road.

Easy to assemble, durable, sturdy
This crib was easy to assemble and is of a good quality. There were no missing pieces and all of the pieces were labeled well. The instructions were easy to follow. It took me about 30-45 minutes to do it by myself. I purchased the forest green color, and I love it (I had purchased the same exact crib a couple of years ago in gray and it held up really well the past 3 years, so I knew the quality I was getting when I ordered this). The green color would go really well with gold accents in a room, too. There were no scratches on the item when it arrived, and it hasnât gotten any scratches so far, so it seems pretty durable. The material is easy to clean if it gets dirty. It did have a little bit of a new furniture smell (not a bad smell but I know some people are sensitive to smells) to it at first, but after assembling and leaving it out for a few days, the smell is gone. We purchased a separate Graco Crib mattress for it, and it fits perfectly. I love that there are different heights to raise or lower the mattress in the bed, and it can be converted to a toddler bed in the future. It makes it well worth the price, especially since we can use it for a few years by converting it to the toddler bed and more.

Reliable, sturdy, and easy to put together crib
*UPDATED REVIEW* Another year passed and we took the front part of the crib off and now have a toddler bed. The transition for the child went way better than expected as itâs the same bed and bedding just a piece was taken off. See updated picture! Though naps no longer exist the child still sleeps in the bed all night long and loves the âbig kid bedâ. We just added rolled up baby blankets under the fitted sheet and worked perfectly and didnât have to buy any new bed supplies!Original review:We bought the DaVinci Charlie 4-in-1 Convertible Crib in Espresso about two years ago and love this crib. It was easy to put together, sturdy but easy to move, and it has a beautiful espresso color. This picture was taken at the time of me writing this review. Due to our childâs height it is on the lowest setting. We did have it on a higher setting when the child was an infant. The child sleeps in it every night and most naps and loves it. I did not give the crib a 5 star review since you have to buy the additional equipment to convert the crib to a day bed or a single bed. Overall the crib is perfect I just would prefer the conversion equipment included in the package. Definitely worth the purchase price.

Be careful
So Iâm a thirty year retired mechanic and have dealt with fasteners in all situations. Stripped bolts or broken bolts are a common issue if you do things wrong. Most instruction manuals have torque specs for people who donât know what tighten means for a specific size and or type of fastener. So I assembled this simple product and still managed to break something.ð . Unbelievable but true. So I claim responsibility for over tightening the bolt even though it never reached its capacity. Most fasteners will bottom out as they say. Meaning to Reach a point of being tight with out breaking it. Itâs a common mechanic feel of when to stop when you donât use a torque wrench. As you can see the wood split during the process. So donât feel bad if this happens to you. The company sent me a new back leg right away and now itâs like it never happened. ð¤«
