Excellent camera and floor stand!
This camera is worth every penny! The Nanit Pro with floor stand has given us incredible peace of mind. The image quality is crystal clear, even in the dark, and the bird’s-eye view means we can see our baby no matter how much he wiggles around.Some highlights:Setup: The floor stand was incredibly easy to assemble and provides a stable base for the camera. No drilling or complicated mounting required.Crystal-Clear Video: The 1080p HD video is amazing. I can see every little detail, even in low light.Sleep Tracking: The Nanit Insights provides detailed information about my baby’s sleep patterns. The overnight report is super helpful and informative!Flexibility: The floor stand allows me to easily move the camera between rooms, which is perfect for naps or when we travel.Overall:The Nanit Pro with floor stand is an excellent investment, especially compared to some of the cheaper WiFi monitors we have purchased in the past. High quality video/audio, smart design, great data insights
Not much of a reviewer – wanted to do this one. Recommended from friends and family to get the Nanit.Super easy hardware and mobile app setup. I thought it was smart to design the ‘management channels’ (the extended pole going from the base to protect and organize the wire going to the outlet).The image & audio quality is very clear, especially during night/dark settings.Initially, I thought this was just a high-quality video monitoring system. I didn’t realize it provides all this data. I initially didn’t think it was necessary to have all that extra data of when the baby falls asleep, when they wake up in the middle of the night, how long it takes for them to sleep, how quickly they go back to sleep on their own, etc…but I can see now how this can be really useful. Nanit also provides ‘insight plans’ to help with providing parents additional tips on improving quality, duration etc. Very useful for parents who really want to know. Overall, great tech, design, features – happy I got it.

This is the ONLY Monitor That Worked for Us!
Prior to biting the bullet and spending the $$$ for this monitor, I had tried a few other Wifi baby monitors, but was terribly unsatisfied with them.The Owlet Cam app would freeze the sound or video feed randomly and cause me to miss my baby crying (Owlet customer service told me to just restart the app, but if I’m ASLEEP I can’t do that!)The VTECH Wifi cam I used, I was convinced it was defective because it just wouldn’t stay connected to the receiver in my 800 square foot apartment. They sent me a replacement and it had the same issue. And when that one disconnects, it beeps pretty loudly to wake you up. One night I didn’t sleep at all because it just wouldn’t reconnect so I went and laid in my baby’s room. I even got an expensive Wifi Mesh system with 4 satellites and this did not solve the connectivity issue, so that got returned as well.Anyway, now that you know the history, let’s look at the Nanit. I had wanted a Nanit from the start, but it’s just so expensive compared to all the others! But when I went and did research and read reviews, I couldn’t find one that I could guarantee would work for me. After the Owlet issue I was hesitant to use a product that didn’t have a physical receiver, but I decided I would just try it, and if it didn’t work then I would return it.Bottom line: I am absolutely blown away by how good this camera is! The picture quality is good even at night, the app has never once crashed or frozen, and there is a backup connection (local mode) if the Wifi ever fails (which sometimes it does say it lost connection, but I never lose my feed if I’m in the house).Nanit also provides a lot more important information (IMO) than the Owlet Cam did. I don’t have the Nanit subscription, but the information I get from the basic app is perfect. It shows when baby wakes up, whether baby was put to bed asleep, time to fall asleep (if they weren’t already asleep), how long baby was out of bed, and when significant sounds were picked up (crying, etc). The paid version gives you deeper analytics of baby’s sleep habits, if you want that.The app does allow background sound so you can listen with the screen locked or while using another app, which is very helpful! I will say that my husband and I pretty quickly disabled motion and sound notifications on our phones because they were very spammy and not that useful for us.I cannot review the breathing band, since my baby was too big for the one that came with it, and now that he’s older I don’t worry that he’s going to stop breathing every night. I’m sure it works great, considering how great it works in general.

Durable Product, Awesome App!
Nanit with the floor stand has been an absolute must-have for us, especially now that weâre using it for our second child. Our first Nanit, which we bought five years ago for our older child, is still going strong, so we knew we were sticking with Nanit for baby #2. That first monitor has held up incredibly wellâitâs a testament to the quality of materials and durability Nanit delivers. The floor stand version has made things even easier this time around since we can place it wherever we want, without having to drill holes or figure out complicated mounts. Itâs super sturdy, too.What really sets Nanit apart for me, though, is the app and the data it provides. As a dad who loves keeping track of patterns, the detailed sleep tracking is a huge plus. You can monitor sleep cycles, wake times, and even the roomâs temperature and humidityâall in real-time. The breathing monitoring feature offers extra peace of mind, knowing that if something seems off, weâll get an alert. On top of all that, this camera is surprisingly portable. Itâs been with us on at least 20 international and domestic trips, and the setup has always been a breeze no matter where we are. The ability to quickly take it down and set it up again has made it the perfect travel companion, so we never have to compromise on our peace of mind while away from home. All in all, Nanit just keeps delivering, combining durable hardware with smart software!

I didnât realize how many basic features are paywalled behind the insights subscription. E.g. telling you how long your kid slept. Without the subscription it becomes a very basic yet expensive baby monitor.

Very unhappy with the quality of the packaging we received. It appears the box had been previously open. The cover had been ripped in multiple places and the tape holding the cover to the box had already been removed.We have returned this item and purchased through Nanit themselves.
