Perfect For Young Hikers
We are a family of hikers, but my grandson used to be a little bit whiny about carrying his own water bottle. I got this for him for Christmas and it ended up being one of his favorite gifts. The pack itself is very nice and looks great. However, the bladder leaks.I emailed CamekBak and they mailed me a new bladder. This one has a different design and doesn’t leak. Thank you so much! My 7 year old daughter loves it for long ski days. ð

Backpack is great, bladder is trash
These are great bags, works for my 7 and 4 year old. Zero complaints about the bag. However, he hydration bladders is complete trash. Strong plastic taste despite trying many techniques, and extremely stiff/inflexible hoses. I purposely bought name brand thinking it would be better…. dead wrong.

It was difficult finding a hydration pack that would fit my kids and not make it too cumbersome for them to carry on their own. CamelBak is a trusted brand, the packs were great; water was insulted in the pack but not the tube, so the water did get warm between uses, but thatâs with any pack in my experience. It is easy to use, they fit just right and my kids were comfortable wearing them.

Perfect for littles
Bought this for my son to go on a trip with his godmother to Colorado. They planned to do some significant hiking. Heâs 8 and average-ish size kid. This not only fit him perfectly, but the pockets are enough storage without overloading it with weight. He used it on the plane as his personal bag, without the water of course. For his hiking he said it was âgreat!â And the best feature is that it has a shutoff valve at the drinking end that he used as a fidget.
