Great for the Price Point
I find this to be a great value for the money. However, I do not recommend this if you plan to setup/teardown regularly. I would not use it outdoors. It is perfect if you have a space where you can set it up and leave it. Everything came in a single box. No parts were missing. As has been mentioned before, take your time setting it up. Don’t force anything. The stands are lightweight but adequate if handled with care. The 3 muslin backdrops came in plastic zip locks so no staining was present as others have stated. Two of the stands, wrapped in plastic, are loose in the box while the other 2 stands are in a box. One set has a sticker on the bottom with a #1 on it and the other two have a #3 on them. After examining them I see no difference between them. I was thinking that maybe the ones for the backdrop frame would be a little more robust but they appear to be exactly the same. The muslin material looks like it will steam out nicely.The only thing that had me wondering at first when setting up the lights was that initially they did not turn on. I tried a different bulb thinking it may have been damaged in transit and still nothing. I looked inside the socket and the metal tab that the bulb makes contact with seemed pushed down to the bottom. I used a set of curved end hemostats to pull the tab up more horizontal with the bottom of the socket. The bulb felt like it was all the way in but it still didn’t light. So I gently continued to tighten the bulb ever so slightly and it finally made contact and lit. I had to do the same with the other light and everything is working great.As recommended by others I did get an additional clamp pack which you will need to help stretch the backdrops taught. I definitely recommend this lighting package provided you don’t expect it to be a workhorse about town.

Worth the money
I purchased this for some inside photography. Like other reviews state, this is not an extremely sturdy frame nor extremely bright lights. However, it worked well for what I wanted it for. Keep in mind that the backdrop isn’t as large as it sounds. My wife is 5’6″ and the backdrop often wasn’t long/tall enough when also draped on the floor.

Solid Value – Two Minor Shortcomings
I purchased this unit realizing just how many different things I was getting “in the box” for not a lot of money. It looked like a solid value, and it indeed is.Everything “works” just fine and was easy to set up and break down in just a few minutes total.I would put this under the heading of 5-stars and “Awesome!” except for two things:If planning on taking this on portable shoots, you should find it to be an excellent choice, but plan to add an carrying case of some sort – the included one will carry the stands, but not the lighting or backdrop.It indicates that it adjusts from 5′-10′ in width. The crossbar does adjust to allow the stated width change. The backdrops, however, are a bit more of a “subject to interpretation” thing. They have a rod slot sewn in that allows it to be hung in the 6′ wide arrangement easily. If you want to use it in a wide format, you’ll need to use the included clamps, and that comes with a slew of hassles – definitely not a “set it and forget it” thing.If the 6′ wide format is your thing and you’re in a single location or have easy other ways of packing it, then this is a simply glorious kit for the price. If you need the other factors, then you’ll have to do a little bit of adjusting (thus the knock down to 4 stars).

Great Studio kit for beginners!
Even my professional photographer friends were wowed! Very nice thick Black, White and Chromakey Green Screen. The only downside is that my screens donât reach the full width of the stand. The stand for the screens are a bit wobbly, but sandbag may fix this issue. I wouldnât use outside in windy weather without have a sturdy backing. But itâs a huge plus for my online classes via Zoom. Which is the reason I bought the it in the first place.Iâve started my own business making T-shirt and other HTV and non HTV transferable items and having the HYJ-INC Photography Studio is just what I needed for product models. Now I have professional looking photos of my inventory without paying someone else to do it for me.

Excellent Price to Value Ratio
Excellent price to value ratio. Does not include instructions on how to set up a studio. I am still confused by which way to point the light umbrellas, but it really doesnât matter because every situation requires a little experimentation anyways. I will say that the lights could be a bit brighter, and I would update the bulbs (which ARE included) with LED bulbs, only because of the mercury hazard of CFL bulbs and the real possibility of the lights falling over (my robot vac knocked one over but luckily the bulb did not break). This kit is portable and lightweight so expect that when you order. I recommend this kit for beginners and for vloggers who film from a seated position at their computer desk. I see no need for me to upgrade this kit any time soon.
