Great for 5-8 year olds
I bought this several years ago and am just now writing a review. My grandson wanted one and I bought it. He was 5 years old and he would punch and kick it for a good enough amount of time that he was ready for bedtime and I imagine it helped him release any frustration that a child might have; but he played with it for three years and heâs about outgrown it now. Itâs still in good shape so it will be given to another child. You have to put sand or water in the base to hold it up; we used sand and it took a little time but was worth it. I think it was worth the money to me. I hope this helps

Set-up is easy and it comes with a pair of red gloves
I got this for my son and daughter for Christmas. Set-up is easy and it comes with a pair of red gloves. My son said the gloves fit good and were easy to put on. However with the actual punching bag part…I am not sure if it’s because they have been using it alot or because of how its made but at the bottem where the bag connects to the stand the fabric is starting to tear away from the base. Not big deal but doesn’t look very good.

Cheap, but effective
I had to replace a screw as the original stripped out immediately. Also, there is not enough weight when filled with water, so I had to add weights to the base to keep it from getting knocked over. With that said, it is a great work out for my 8 year old grandson. Keeps him occupied for at least an hour a day. Well worth the price.

Broke SECOND TIME it was used
I purchased this for my childâs birthday. It sat in the box 2 weeks and worked great first use. Second time he tried to use it, it ripped and is unusable. Complete waste of money and weâd like either a refund or replacement. Donât know if itâs a fluke or just cheaply made.

It’s a good buy!
I think this is a pretty good item for what it’s worth. My 8 year old is learning to box, so sometimes he knocks the whole thing over and a little water can come out of the base. But, when he stands there and boxes, the base is sturdy but the spring allows just the right movement of the balloon. I do think after awhile the leather around the balloon could start to break if bent too much. I am teaching him to respect it so it will last us a long time. For the price, this is a great item for kids boxing! He loves it! We are using different boxing gloves but the ones that come with it are fine to start out.

Great toy but doesn’t last long
Was so excited to get this for my son and it is his all time favorite thing he has ever recieved. He played with it non stop until the pole broke and that was only two days after getting it. He is so heartbroken. We are now looking dor a better quality one.

Definitely withstands some abuse
My step son is a rambunctious 7 yr old and he really doesn’t hold back when he punches this thing. He’ll punch it so hard, that’ll fall down ::SLAM!!!:: and wipes back up (b/c the base is weighted down with water). Honestly, I’m surprised that the ball hasn’t broken off the stand at times. It’s pretty cute to see my 2 yr old daughter try to punch the ball as well. The stand is adjustable so it works perfectly for my step son and my daughter’s height! And when the ball needs a little air, my step son can easily fill it up on his own. This was the best purchase we made for him!
