When looking at different options, this was the budget choice I came to. I use it for custodial purposes, and it works very well for the price you are buying it for. It is good quality, pretty heavy for the size and cost (still doesn’t weigh a whole lot), and a great addition to your kit if it is something you may want to try.The only drawback for this light is it works a lot better in the dark, and can be difficult to see if there is light. This is normal for UV lights, but if you are trying to use it in more well lit areas, definitly get a bigger brighter one.

Wanted this for identifying potty spots on the carpet. Works well and is of a good material. I like the design and the way it functions. It fits comfortably in your hands and isn’t too small or too large. I havent noticed any heat emitting from the bulbs. I dont expect to experience any since I turn it off as soon as I’m finished spot lighting with it. It didn’t come with any weird smells. I love that it came with the batteries! There wasn’t any corrosion on the batteries, they were clean and fresh. I would have featured a picture but my son misplaced it before I could take one! I’ll be ordering another one though to replace it. Can’t beat that price for what you receive!

Light is definitely bright and works best in the darkest light. It helped me identify pee spits from my cats. Itâs way more solid because I thought it was plastic but the case actually seems to be metal. Itâs small but easy to hold. Do not look at the light because even though itâs the purple it can still hurt your eyes.

I bought this specifically to help find hidden urine spots on my rugs and couch.I’m pretty good at cleaning up her accidents immediately when she pees, but I’m not THAT good.Maybe I should have a got a stronger light?! I do see that others have had the same issue.

We rescued an older dog that marks his territory quite often. I clean up what I can see and we combat it with diapers and a kennel, but I kept smelling urine. This flashlight is absolutely amazing! Unfortunately it lit up my carpet like a Christmas tree. It works best in a very dark environment, but I could still see where I needed to clean with shades closed and a little later in the evening.
