Effective and easy to use, though seems overpriced.
Yes, you,can just grab the chain or use a stick maybe to reseat it, but my kid slips his chain pretty frequently, and I was tired of getting my hands full of grease and/or my fingers scraped up by the chainrings or cogs. I really debated buying this since it seems a truly ridiculous price for a simple device. That said, this morning we were riding on a new trail and, true to form, my son slips his chain. Out comes the device and 10 seconds later the chain is back on with no skinned knuckles or a drop of grease on me. Away goes the device and we ride on. It worked, easily and quickly. The only reason Iâm going four instead of five stars is the price. At half the price, it would be a fantastic lightweight addition to the toolkit. As it stands, I like the thing but feel kind of dumb for paying $16 usd for it.

Very rugged
This tool is very rugged, and I have every reason to expect it to last a lifetime. Additionally what worked out really well (perhaps by chance) is the fact that the spacing of the octaganol holes on the inside of the tool lined up with the pre-drilled holes that had bolts in them for a water bottle mount, so this helps to hold it in place and not slip up or down or turn around while riding! (my water bottle is obviously mounted elsewhere ;0)

Great Lightweight Repair Tool
I use my bike quite a bit to commute around the city and have always taken it into the shop for repairs and tune ups, even for the simplest repairs. Great to have a lightweight, small tool that I can use to switch out my worn out chains! Nice concept to have it attachable to the bike as well.

Didn’t work for me
I wasn’t able to use it to return the chian to it’s place. The hook doesn’t hold the chain very well and when it does, it’s really hard to maneuver it back to the ring. I tried for 15 minutes and eventually gave up on it.
