Finally a device that does it all!
On the search for a device that did it all I have finally found it! Maybe I am just uncoordinated but can’t manage to hold that dang round brush and a blow dryer. Here comes this baby with three brush sizes and it works great! It dries my hair in half the time of my other blow dryers (going to salvation army), leaves my hair soft and shiny, and is light enough to take when I travel. I mean I have tried so many devices, flat irons that claim to dry and straighten, Heated brushes that make the same claim. I love this thing! My hair is different lengths so this works on the shorter bangs and my longer hair. I don’t know what else I can say except FINALLY , why did I waste all the money!!! Love love love this.

So I read the reviews and a lot of the negatives on this product was the size of the handle-It is a little big, but not so much. I would return it for that reason. I absolutely loved the way my hair turned out! I bought it because I am not good at Freehand blow drying-My hair is Growing out from being short and at the stage where itâs either too short to fix or too long to fix. The middle brush gave my hair just enough lift-My hair looks like it was actually cut to be this length! The drying left it super soft and shiny. I want a little bounce!! I love this product!! Iâve been a fan of Chi Products for sometime now. I hope it works for everyone as well as it works for me! Thank you Chi for another great product! â¤ï¸

Only average, especially for the money
It is lightweight and easy to use. I have shoulder length hair and alopecia areata. So I was looking for a cool temp setting (Dr. says to use as little heat as possible) and smaller brush. I read independent reviews that recommended this Chi. Yes, it’s cool setting stays cool during use. But why does it have to blow with twice the force? My hair blew everywhere! The result was NOT smooth, silky hair. The dryer on that setting made my ears ring to the point where I have to wear earplugs. Is there a logical reason for this? Chi could also do away with the middle size brush and offer a 1in. instead. I’m keeping it until I find an alternative. Then it’s good bye Chi

Size: 3 round brushes perfect for most styles.If you want smaller, tighter curls, you need a 1″ barrel which I WISH I could add on from CHI.If they add this, please reach out, I will buy the add on 1″ barrel.Fast fast drying.I wish it had a MEDIUM setting, but the 3 settings do the job fine: COOL (no heat)/LOW HEAT/HIGH HEAT.The bristles grip the hair without any pain, no damage, no “can’t get your hair out” issues. I really like the bristles.Listen: you can get one $20 -$25 (on a no brand)-cheaper, but this time, spend your money on a tried and true brand that is in Ulta/Sallys/salons/used by hairstylists in salons….that’s what I told myself.The blow dryer is not heavy or bulky.The brushes are ROUND not oval….so they are right for shorter, medium length hair.Say hello to SHINY, FRIZZ FREE, styled hair in minutes.Now I look forward to doing my hair.And on the 2nd, 3rd no wash day just dampen hair andre-style with ease and salon results!! Or use the cool setting to re-volume your crown head area.Try it.It’s is a bit noisy, but it’s not a $500 Dyson….and it’s a blow dryer, not a vacuum.

Great tool!
I really like the way this dries and styles! It really grabs and holds my thick hair. Two suggestions though: it would help to have a release button for when itâs hard to release the hair, and it definitely needs a longer tip on the end to keep from burning your fingers. It gets hot! My husband added a piece of a rubber bicycle handle, but itâd be better if the manufactured tip were a couple inches longer.

Heat settings
Edit of original post. After 6 months of use, and daily cleaning of head with provided tool, I am disappointed. In the last 5-6 weeks, about once a week, small hard plastic pieces break off while cleaning! I cannot find where they are coming from, I know itâs not the bristles. This product is far too expensive for this. Chi was at one time a quality name for hair products, no more. I would not recommend now!!!I Love the option for a warm setting, most only have hot or cool. The handle is a bit wide and I am still learning how to manipulate it. Would love to see the next generation have a thinner handle or threads for gripping. Also a slightly larger knob on the end so you can roll the brush with 2 hands without burning fingers. Overall pleased with the product.

Great overall value for this product that is suitable for all lengths of hair due to the 3 sizes provided. I have very fine hair and I find that it doesnât pull, nor do I end up with a lot of hair in the brush when finished. Chi makes great products!

We never usually leave reviews, but we are truly disappointed. Purchased this for my wife in February 2024 (she has always wanted and loved the the chi brand). It started working fairly well (she only uses the biggest barrel), but we found that the barrel was always very unstable (wiggling out of place when brushing) and to top it off… in August 2024, the product began turning on and off by itself, we smelled burning for a few minutes and the product then malfunctioned and the heat dropped by 50%. She can no longer effectively use this product and of course, the 30 day return and/or replacement policy won’t allow us to get our money back. For the price (compared to others at much less cost) we are very disappointed.
