Well made and bright.
This headlamp is rechargeable and lasts a long time. Iâve yet to actually use it to where it doesnât work. Red light is very bright and itâs all I use to get to and from my stands. Adjustable straps and fit easily over a hood or beanie. Button is right on top and large enough you donât have to try to find it. Considering the battery pack on the back itâs not as heavy as one would think. Iâd buy again.

I should have gotten this years ago
This is one of those things you never knew you needed until you have one. Getting “light on the subject” is immensely helpful and I find I use it all the time.This head lamp is very bright and has different lighting for different conditions. Lots of choices. Easy to use, although the button locations take some getting used to as they are located on the light housing and so move whenever you tilt it.It is comfortable to wear but not very easy to carry around when not on your head since the bands are soft and “floppy”. Having the batteries behind your head instead of in the light housing balances out the unit and helps keep it on your head without having to have tight straps.Revised: I initially had one complaint: Even though it has what seems to be a pair of large batteries, they really didn’t last that long when using the main/brightest lamp. The main lamp would go out fairly quickly (10-15 minutes) and only work after recharging the batteries (he other lights would still work). The seller contacted me and replaced the whole unit free of charge. The new unit does not have that problem. The main lamp has stayed on for quite a while, although I haven’t tested the duration. Kudos for standing behind their product.

Bright, easy to recharge, kinda bulky on the head
I got this to walk my dog out at night in our field. It has multiple settings which I don’t necessarily need, but it’s bright enough and holds a charge for a few nights before I think to recharge it. I would be happy if it had one bigger, brighter beam, but it’s working well. Only big problem: on warmer nights, it’s a real moth/bug magnet! And, it’s a bit heavy and bulky on the head, but I don’t need to wear it for extended periods. I really like the rechargeable feature!

This headlamp is a very high quality item and possibly the best $15 I’ve spent in a long time. It’s tough, even when being tossed around or falling onto cement. It takes a licking and keep ticking! It’s bright, lights up the street at night like a car headlight. It’s comfortable and stays in place. All in all, a great product and honestly, better than I anticipated.

Works well just a few things you should know
I just took this headlamp for a hike that ended in darkness. Headlamp worked well, and this was coming down a trail that descended 800 feet in about a mile.Just a few things you should know. There are batteries that are included with this lamp. They are in the battery compartment that sits at the back of your head, but these batteries are wrapped in plastic film. So to use them, you have to take the batteries out, remove the plastic film and then put them back. While there is nothing wrong with this, it is a bit surprising. I have never bought something where the batteries came in a battery compartment wrapped in plastic film, so it is unusual, at least in the USA. There are no instructions with the product that tell you to open up the battery compartment, remove the plastic film, and put the batteries back.The actual main light of the headlamp was powerful, lighting up about 20-25 feet ahead of me quite well, so I felt that the head lamp generated enough light.Another few things to know. It would be very easy to accidentally turn on the headlamp while it is stored in a backpack. Just too easy to press the button that turns on the headlamp. My advice to you is to keep the batteries and the headlamp storedapart in a bag. When it is starting to get dark, insert the batteries. Doing this prevents the batteries from being accidentally discharged. That could be bad to find yourself with a dead headlamp in the darkness.Another tip: buy a second set of 18650 batteries and keep them charged. Best to have backup batteries on hand in case in case anything going wrong.All in all, I am happy with the purchase.Oh, it is nice that the batteries are rechargeable, and you just plug the headlamp in using a cable. That makes recharging them easy.The only thing I *would* like is some kind of lights that would blink on to show how much charge the batteries have left. That would be a nice additional feature.
