N NEVO RHINO Hydration Backpack, Hydration Pack Hydropack, Water Backpack Insulated Climbing Backpack with 3L Water Bladder for Climbing

Awesome hydration pack!
I bought a pair of these for my wife and myself. These were for a trip we planned to hike the Might Five nation parks in Utah (Zion, Bryce, Capitol Reed, Canyonland, and Arches – we also did Dead Horse Point SP). These were perfect.The temps were sunny and in the 90s every day. So, you need to stay hydrated. These each held 3 liters of water. The mouthpiece hose clips to either strap (left side or right side). That made it very convenient to drink water on the fly. The mouthpiece worked great – no leaking. The mouthpiece also has an attached cover to keep it clean when you are not drinking from it.The pack itself has mesh side pockets, outside zipper pockets on the back of the pack, small zippered pockets on the waist straps, and a decent sized area for storage in the main pack pocket, where the water bladder is kept. In the main pack pocket where the bladder goes is an insulated section. This kept the water cool for most of the day (the bladder hose is also insulated). There is also another area in the main pocket, separated from the insulated bladder pocket, which we used for our lunches.I used the waist strap pockets for my Leatherman utility knife, and we also used them to hold power bars to snack on. We each used the side mesh pockets for small binoculars. Some days we packed hoagies for lunch that fit inside the main pack. There were still more pockets and areas to hold more stuff if needed.The shoulder and waist straps are padded and very comfortable. The chest strap click has a built-in whistle (hopefully you won’t need it). The pack straps on easily and is comfortable to wear all day. You forget you have it on.I really like the design of the bladder – how it closes and seals. It’s tough to describe, but it is much easier to fill and seal than the Camelbak bladder that I have that I’ve been using for overnight backpacking trips. You don’t even need to take the bladder out of the pack to refill it. Just unzip the main pocket of the pack, open the bladder top, hold it under the water spigot and fill it. Once it’s full, just close/seal the bladder, zip up the pocket and you are on your way. And no leaking at all.We did 8 days of day hiking with these packs, and they were gold! The pack and bladder are very well made and very durable. No issues with zippers, like you might get with cheaply made packs. You can use this pack for everything you’d need for a full day of hiking.I would definitely recommend this pack!

Excellent lightweight day pack
I was looking for a smaller day pack and this has been perfect! It is lightweight and the lighter color (I ordered orange for safety/visibility) allows light through the material so that I can see my contents. While the material is lightweight and thin enough for light penetration, it seems strong. I’ve used it during a week long camp where it was flung around and heavily used. The hydration slot is useful to hold notebooks or the intended bladder – which holds a lot of fluid! I packed mine with ice and it kept the fluid cold as well as my back on a hot day. There are plenty of useful pockets including the small ones on the waist belt. I am having a hard time drying out the bladder, but I think if I detach the hose it’ll solve the problem (first time using a bladder). Overall, it is a comfortable pack, lightweight, and sturdy. Highly recommend.

CAN’T GET ANY BETTER THIS IS THE BEST PACK SERIOUSLY!
I did a lot of research and reviews to get just the right backpack and went through all the Amazon pages. This is the one! Look no further! The construction is very well made. I love how there is a tie down system for poles in the front – I’m going to use it for my weighted clubs –not many backpacks have this. It’s big enough to put something serious like a drawing pad or tablet/notebook in (hopefully in some kind of waterproof protected case) – I am going to use it for my large drawing pads and I love the insulated area for the bladder to go in. The bladder is also awesome-the hose disconnects, it’s insulated. There’s plenty of room in this pack for snacks or an extra set of clothes etc. This is going to be very easy to take care of and the quality is perfection. I love the purple color and the adjustable straps are so comfortable. I really can’t say enough good things about this bag –i also love the included whistle in the straps. This hydration backpack really has it all. I’m considering buying more in case they run out –yes this is one of those purchases where you love it so much you buy a spare in case the manufacturing changes hands/goes out of business–which it won’t -_GET IT NOW!! Awesome gift-the price is JUST RIGHT. STOP READING AND GET IT ALREADY!

Great backpack
Small yet very roomy. Water bag does not leak. Lightweight but durable.

I got a different bag initially that ended out having no room in it and ordered this as a replacement on a last minute emergency need for a big convention I was going to with my service dog. I needed a bag that was big enough to carry my bladder and all the stuff for her and myself; meals (for both of us), clothing (for both of us), toys for her, and all the medical supplies needed for both of us as we both have medical conditions. ***keep in mind this review is done with a 2l bladder I had previously ***. I was able to fit everything we needed for the day and be able to use the bundgies at the front to hold a mat for us to lay on, the top “pole” holder came really in handy for this because I was able to slip the mat through there and not have it flapping about like with other bags who only hand the one set of cross bundgies. The side cup pockets were way better secured on this one once items were in it and again things didn’t flap about. I was hesitant about the middle section that’s only secured by buckels because I thought things would fall out if it but the bag has well secured side panels to keep things inside and this ended out coming really handly to carry extra things. The cooler pocket for the bladder definitely worked excellent!These are the negatives I had about the bag, however the bag is still amazing!The water resistance or proofing it advertised does not work maybe for light rain but my water leaked in the cup holder and it got inside. I ended out using my beeswax on it which changed the color a bit but will waterproof all of the materical i could get at.The shoulder straps as someone else pointed out are not as comfortable as others (I do not find it hot like other have said I can actually feel the coolness of the bladder which is why I think the padding is so thin). This being said I carried a 2l bladder and a full bag for 8 hours and it was not that badThe bladder itself is great doesn’t leak or anything however the cap to get at the nozel is impossible to get off with one hand which is a must for me when I am walking with my guide dog, hence why I used my 2l bladderThe cooler tube cover doesn’t really work at all. It’s not hot water but even in 17 degree weather the water is warm and not cool like it advertised. This was a huge bummer because I really wanted this. Also the stitching to make this is not very strong as I took it off the 3l and put it on my 2l and I definitely wouldn’t do it again or it would rip. This may turn out to be needing repairs down the road so I can clean the tube but we will see. It would be better if they put small loops on the ends so you can take it on and off for cleaning.Over all this bag is a MUST! I will be using this ALOT! Don’t look any further. Get yourself some water proofing stuff and buy this bag. None of the other bags I looked at even 300$ bags were waterproof anyways unless you want an external cover which I did not.It also gets very compact when not full which is awesome. I could go on and on. But this bag is a must must must buy
