Works great!
I have had this for a week now and it works great! The float works great. The connecting cord to the hose works fine. No problems. I ended up hooking it up to the hose instead of the faucet directly because I was having problems with leaking but that was no fault of the water bowl it was my hose that was the problem. This works great for my two dogs and my cat. I used to have a 3 gallon water bucket that I would refill every couple of days for them but if it got too low the cat was unable to reach it. I love that the water level on this bowl is always full and I don’t have to worry about keeping it full. Especially on a hot day. Very easy to clean. Definitely recommend!

Great invention.
Having this automatically fill as needed for our dogs has been great. There has been no more hassle remembering to fill up their water or worry when we travel and they stay home about if theyâll have water. It has also helped with our algae problem we had with our old outside water bowl which is THE BEST PART. it was easy to install and we connected onto a split so we still had access to use our faucet with a hose.It is definitely worth itâs value and is as explained.

Good overall
Pros: always water available, solid construction, easy to clean algaeCons: Leaks from side plug (should have the same seal as bottom)

WHY DIDNâT I GET ONE SOONER?!
I have a GSD and grand puppy GSD, and they play hard & drink a lot of water. I was rinsing & refilling basic water bowls more than 10x a day. Then I stumbled across these bowls. I only need 1 for these 2, because it keeps up with them. But Iâll get another one since the puppy is a bulldozer to get to water with my 7 yo. I had my husband mount it to an old feeding stand. I added a pic for anyone interested in the idea. The wood rotted on it (cuz they use cheap, untreated wood) and I wanted the water elevated for these big dogs.I know some complained about other bowls didnât have the plug in the bottom, so I went with this one that had the plug. But honestly, I wish it didnât have one. I just take a scrubbie & wash it & dump it out. No need for the drain. The plug collects dirt & algae easily, which is annoying when rinsing. I scrub it every couple days. I suppose if itâs mounted to something stationary, the plug is most helpful tho.

Faulty in multiple ways
TL;DR: Leaks from the drain and doesnât shut off.Installed it exactly how itâs supposed to be installed. Itâs designed to be tilted forward a little. It tilts forward so far that there isnât enough water in the back half to actually raise the float. It just ends up spilling out the front and therefor never turns off. And yes I adjusted the float as low as it could go, still nothing.I solved this issue by installing shims behind it to level it out more. Not even 48hrs later, it started leaking out the drain and onto the ground. Back to running non stop but now for a different reason. Definitely not worth the money I spent but Iâm outside the return window. Shouldâve attempted to install it sooner. That parts on me.

Best outside water bowl
Can’t say enough about this bowl except should have bought it sooner. Mounted it to the fence between the side yards and keeps the bowl full. I pull the screw in plug daily a d use my hand to clean it out real quick a d install plug. Super easy and quick. I live in Arizona and expected the water to get hot but doesn’t. No more worring about dog playing in water and then having none to drink. Has an adjustable float and made with quality parts.

Works great
I fastened this to the concrete wall on the side of my garage using the included hardware. I did have to bend the back some to make it pull up flush but it wasn’t a big deal. It shuts off the way it is supposed to and does not leak. The drain is very handy as I have to clean it out every few days because my dogs leave grass and dirt behind when they drink. Great product. Unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to use it during the winter because the hydrant it is connected to would freeze and bust, but 9 months out of the year it is great!

Great for dogs
We have three of these waterers for our dogs, 2 outside and one in the basement. Itâs a good feeling to know that our dogs will have a reliable source of water either out on our property or in the house. We also have a floor drain in our basement so we donât have to worry about water on the floor. I would not recommend one of these in your house unless you have a functioning floor drain. Our dogs love to dig in these and get water all over. Other ones weâve had donât hold up to the use our dogs put them through. This is why we now have 3 of them. The first one we got was 4 years ago and itâs still going strong.
