Very cute set; tweezers don’t work but the rest are good
This is an adorable vintage-style case with matching toiletries tools. The case is padded and has a 1960’s pale green faux-leather exterior, with cream colored piping trim and a chromed metal frame. The latch is spring loaded and easy to work, although I think eventually the spring may fall off (it’s mounted just inside the frame. Inside the case, the lining is a cream faux leather with loops stitched on to secure the tools in place. The tools are stainless, with handles painted a matching green to the exterior of the case.I like the tools, especially the snips and the ear spoon, with the sole exception of the tweezers. The tweezers are the only tools fully painted, with no metal showing, and their tips are blunt, not sharp. They can’t actually grab anything, since the ends are rounded, not flat, where they meet. I might be able to modify them with a metal file to strip the paint from that surface and flatted them to actually meet in a usable grip, but I worry that they won’t be protected from rust if I do that. However, the other tools in the set are functional and cute. It’s a very giftable set, especially for someone who loves that retro look (and who, hopefully, doesn’t need tweezers too often).

Nice smaller kit with cute soft case
It’s a nice smaller kit if you don’t want all those specialty tools, but it still has a lot. The clippers were fine, a bit too big for me (I’m used to the child clippers) but they were sharp and cut well. The scissors were also sharp and I wasn’t sure what to do with the spoon looking tool. My favorite was the file. Usually these are pretty dulled down but this one felt decent sharp all the way around. The tools were a bit flimsy so I was worried about pushing hard against it, but it did file down some points I had with relative ease when I tested it. I was a little disappointed in the tweezers. I tested them against my own in messing with the sides of my nail and it couldn’t even grab it. The tips were soft too and i think would have worked better if not painted over. Otherwise, in general, it’s an average kit and if you’re looking for this, it works out, but I have had sturdier quality items and in not sure the milage on some of these but time will tell.

Cute compact nail kit
This is a nice little kit for storing some basic nail supplies. I got the green one and it is basically as pictured. I used the straight nail clippers, and they are decent quality – there are better clippers out there but these worked just fine. There is a coating on each of the products, and I don’t mind it too much but I’d prefer if it wasn’t there at all. I’m not sure what it adds, and there were a few uneven spots.. I also wish the tips of the tweezers weren’t coated. The container is so cute and compact, however, and will be great for travel. I can even swap in a better pair of tweezers and clippers eventually, so I appreciate the versatility. The value is also good, since it’s currently $5 at the time of this review.

Such a good value!
Order includes a complete personal tool set for all my manicure, pedicure and facial care needs…quality and such a good value! All the tools and the sturdy leather case are in a pretty light green color. This set is well-designed and so convenient for travel and use at home!
