Has helped a very tense cat!
A friend of mine adopted a cat about a year or so ago. This poor kitty looked to have come from a pretty dire situation. It was a purebred cat that had obviously been used as part of a breeding mill. She was extremely frightened of nearly everyone and everything. She didn’t even know how to play with toys and would only chase her tail, a sign that she spent much of her time cooped up in a cage. (She now knows how to play with toys!) My friend, who has had a lot of experience with various cats, wasn’t even initially able to pet her. Over time she’s opened up and can be pet, but even now you have to be careful with how you pet her or she will freak out. Picking her up isn’t even an option, which makes any sort of medical or preventative care truly difficult. Now while my friend has been helping this beautiful cat adapt to a normal, loving household, the cat still has issues with stress and anxiety. She will often over-groom, leading to scabs and bald patches in her coat. Fleas have contributed to this some, but the main issue with her has been and still is anxiety and stress. We have some calming diffusers and those have helped, but more was needed.I got these just under a week ago and they’ve made a marked difference, particularly when paired with the Bayer II flea treatment. There’s a marked improvement in her coat and demeanor, plus she’s easier to approach. She doesn’t really even react as much when you pass by her, something that’s really nice as cats should be able to fully relax in their homes.I can’t vouch for the taste myself, obviously, but I can say that the cat absolutely loves them. My friend has another cat that doesn’t need these, but also loves how they taste so he has to be kept away or he’ll try to figure out ways to steal her morning treat – not that she gives up these treats willingly! It’s already become a daily morning ritual that she looks forward to. I’m absolutely buying more of these, particularly since they’re so reasonably priced! I purchased some pricier ones at PetSmart that neither cat would even touch (CatMX), so it’s nice that I can get good, helpful treats at a reasonable price!

My cat won’t eat them alone/Not very effective
I have an EXTREMELY hyperactive cat, and was very hopeful that these would allow me to get some sleep (think zoomies routinely at 3am, sometimes lasting for 2+ hours). I’m working remotely and my son is doing Distance Learning, so even in the daytime, it is quite distracting. Our fur baby is still fairly new to our home, as we just adopted him less than two months ago, but we struggle to find the time to give him the attention he needs during the day, and I think it goes without saying that zoomies in the middle of the night are stressful. We’re talking slamming into walls, knocking things over, jumping, falling…I’m constantly worried that he will get hurt. So I had very high hopes that these would help to calm him, but unfortunately the results were minimal, at best. They seemed to help briefly after the first time, but after that, little to no effect. He also hates the taste (and this is a cat who eats every other kind of food and treats given, and we’ve tried a wide variety), but I was able to easily crumble them into his favorite wet foods. I was just hoping for convenience in a treat combined with results, but unfortunately that isn’t the case with these so far. I might try 3 (I’ve only tried up to 2 at a time so far), but I’m not sure if that is excessive. He’s very young so I don’t want to overdo it. I think these might work for mild behavioral issues/mild anxiety, but for our wild and furry child, it’s back to the drawing board. Admittedly we’re still waiting for the next vet appointment (the vet hospital where we adopted him was very unhelpful, to say the least), but I plan to discuss any potential health concerns at his new vet when we visit. I’ve read that sometimes extreme behaviors like the ones he sometimes expresses can have underlying causes, such as thyroid issues. In the meantime, I’m hoping for a little peace and calm — especially when we’re busy, and extra especially at bedtime. ð½ I plan to try the calming treats with melatonin next (wish us luck with those).

Awful!
I had such high hopes for this treat to help my 2 cats get along better…such a disappointment. Neither one would even touch these smelly things…one sniff and they took off.Oh and the STINK is horrendous! I left one by the cat’s food bowls just in case they might change their minds, the horrific stench of them could be smelled upstairs and many rooms away….from ONE little treat! Even the closed package could be smelled, so I put it outside in the garage. I may try them on the cats again, but will likely just be tossing them. Ugh…waste of money. Will buy from Chewy in the future so I can get by money back when the cats don’t like an item.

Too Tasty, Short span after repeated use
I started slow with my cat, he is 16 pounds. I gave him one or two and they worked so well at first. I was floored, he was an angel on a drive around the block. Next day, I had to take him on a train and I upped it to around 5. They wore off after 20 minutes, so I upped to around 12. Worked amazing, my cat loves the treats and didnât mind eating more to cope with his feelings. But then⦠I had them in a bag on a shelf. He loved these treats so much that he jumped up on the shelf and pulled them out of the bag. I came home to a cat ten times hyper than I ever saw him as a kitten. At first, I was nervous of him getting sick as he tore open the bag and ate an unknown amount. But he was fine⦠just WIRED. The opposite of the intention of the treats.Hopefully, itâs just a little intense for a night and it wears off, but beware – cats go nuts if they get too hungry for the treats.
helpful and good. –

My cat didnât really like it but she would eat it when mixed with wet food. If youâre buying this product to soothe a cat in heat and stop it from meowing all night long it doesnât really help. I havenât tried it in other situations as my cat is now really calm after getting spayed.

I started giving 1 biscuit to my cat a day, she is so chilled usually jumping nervously as a slight sound. She loves them practically taking the packet off me. So far do good.
