My pets love it!
I love this fountain and so do my pets. I have several cats and a yellow lab. I wanted something that all of them could enjoy. I swear my animals are drinking more water than before. It’s easy to take apart and clean, love the filter system. Its also easy to see where the water line is at, so I know when to refill. I love the blue light so I can see it at night. Also nice and quiet. The only complaints would be that the top black part and filter cage attached seem flimsy but it works so ð¤·ââï¸.

Great for cats or small dogs.
One of my small pups does not drink enough water. She’d wait until she was extremely thirsty and then drink a ton at once usually resulting in her coughing or gagging for drinking too fast.This has convinced her to drink way more, when she passes the flowing water she’s more likely to stop and take a sip. We’ve had it for about 4 months now and it’s worked so well, it’s easy to clean and light weight.

As I said, came as advertised, color way accurate, does have light, water flow is very good, VERY quiet.The -1 star is because the wire was stopping the top from going on tightly, but I got it on to a point where it doesn’t shift.Not the fountains fault, but my cat ended up hating it. I guess I spoiled her too much with the bath faucet waterð« Again, no effect on the stars, I just want owners to keep their cats’ eccentricities in mind when y’all buy thus stuff for them.ð«¡

REALLY gotta clean that motor! Every 2 Weeks
I â¤ï¸ this fountain for the following reasons: The basin is just slightly deeper than the rest. So little dogs can actually use it. 2. It’s very beautiful & elegant. 3. They thought they could fool me with the $15 price tag but I’m a 38 year dog trainer, pro-athlete K9 sports, breeder, kennel operator + trainer of police & service dogs & product advocate. Where they get your money is the filters that do not work. I’m not sure what to do about that yet, but I’ll have to either make my own filter or find one that works & will fit. Even if I have to modify the filter spot. Amazon knows I’ve spent over $10,000 a year just on their products & over half I return. Not Amazon’s fault but it’s these companies, these test companies use Amazon like a mother..! lolOK let’s get to the nitty gritty. This is a beautiful nice little machine ESPECIALLY if you’re looking for a fountain for small dogs. Look no further. But as I said in my cleaning tutorial video: They’re not joking when the instructions say, to really get into that motor & all the crevices & scrub it well. You’ll need a bottle brush also. This only comes with the teeny gold & black one . I know most of you want something.You can just throw in the dishwasher and be done with, But you can’t do that with electronic components. It’s not this company or machine’s fault if you can’t take the 15-20 minutes to clean it out every 2 weeks. You’ll have to do that with any other brand anyways. You cant be a lazy susan with any pet water fountain. The instructions only emphasize to “really get in every crevice & get it clean”. In my video, & photos I show you just how much you need to clean it and where. If your fountain begins to reduce the spout flow by half, it desperately needs cleaning. It will stop all together. So please adhere my next paragraph:If you have cats (or sadly some people do this to their dogs) & want to depend on any electric fountain, incldg this one, as your outside ONLY method of getting water, (well 1st of all please dont), you must scrub every tiny inside bits of the motor at least 2 x a week. If you leave your cat alone for say overnight or a day or too with nobody to check on them, Please make sure you leave a big bowl of water sitting out.Because these machines can milk function or there could be a power outage or anything could happen.I just want to make sure I stress that you don’t only depend on this if you’re not going to be home to monitor your pets fluids. They can’t live more than 3 days without water, like us.Overall, I really love this machine though. I just think it’s so pretty and elegant plus it’s the perfect size plus it has a deeper basin for a small dog’s tongue.

Works well but not easy to see how much water is in it
This has worked very well and the cat really seems to like it. She keeps sticking her whole head under the fountain but it doesnt seem to bother her. It gets dirty really really fast tho. Plan on cleaning it once a week at the very least. It is very hard to see what water is in the bowl but since it requires a lot of cleaning you shouldn’t really run out of water. The water seems to last a long time. I let it go for a couple of weeks and it did but by that time it really needed cleaning.

I got this because of the LED light and the price. The light is more of a decoration vs being useful, it is impossible to see the level of water whether from afar or upclose. Maybe if just the level lines lit up it would work but with the fountain being black plastic and the tint of the LED it really just makes the fountain glow which is cool looking but otherwise 0% helpful.My cats like it and it is quiet but I would not recommend it. Having something cheap and affordable is great but the only way to tell it’s low is when it starts making the infamous gurgling noise that all fountains make when they get low.
