Makes life simpler
Really liking this feeder. I can go away for little trips knowing my cats are fed. Seems fairly durable and haven’t had any issues so far. It did scare my cats at first but I put some treats on the food and they got brave real fast! If your a busy person this is really helpful. You can set the amount you want to feed and up to 6 times a day. Holds about 8 cups. The only negative is that it runs on 3 D batteries but supposed to last up to 180 days. Only time will tell if this totally works out or not.

Solved nighttime wake ups
My cats eat multiple small meals a day. At night, even if I fed them later in the evening, one of them would wake me up at like 4 am. This feeder was a game changer. I placed a feeding mat below instead of bowl, so both cats could come and kind of scavenge. It gives them something to do and now they don’t bother me at all anymore. The bowl is metal and scared them when food dispensed, so the mat is much more sound friendly. I had my husband set it up, but it seemed pretty straightforward. I can also feed them if I’m gone longer in the day than anticipated. The camera quality is better than I expected as well. Now I can also check in on the cats while I’m out. Really pleased with all the features! Definitely recommend.

Not easy to program
Love it after I got it programmed. Instructions seem clear but aren’t. Took 2 hours to try and program. If you take off your wifi auto reconnect it will work. Nothing in manual says to do this.

The video camera works really well and the app sends you notifications . I can see my cat at any time and the camera adjusts up and down allowing you to view the bowl or more of the surrounding area of the house. I really wish people told me about being able to move the camera up and down because I would have bought this sooner. I looked at other products and that was a commen complaint with other products but not this one. I love that you can adjust the portion sizes and add multiple feedings using my phone. Absolutely love this product and recommend it. Had it for one week now and I can’t believe that I lived without this before. My cats are pushy when it comes to their feeding time and now I just program this feeder to take care of it without disrupting my sleep. With the time change that allows me flexbility because my boys don’t care 🙂

I had to use another plug and cord for this machine to work, since mine came with a defective one. Pretty disappointing considering the price point of this expensive gadget. Otherwise, the machine works as described; I use it to dispense my dog’s medication while I’m out/at work so I have more flexibility in my schedule. The camera is a nice perk so I can ensure he takes it.

Product will not work over LAN, requires data to be sent out, then sent back into home network. This is a really bad implementation in my opinion as video and audio feed data at ending sent to some arbitrary server somewhere.I’m returning this.
