It works as expected
It’s a Game Drive that can work on Xbox, PC and PlayStation. I’m currently using for my PS5 that’s shown in the picture. The drive itself is very light weight. I would make sure you give it plenty of space by your game console. The cord it comes with is a Micro USB 3.0 and it is a good wire but it is short. Transfer speed is great and it is fast. Downloading the games from the Internet took me the whole day just to put on the drive but I was ok with that because I did have a big list of games that I wanted to put on this drive. Do note that this only works for only Xbox One / PS4 games only, don’t expect PS5 or Series X games to go on here. It does feel very reliable, it does heat a bit when downloading or running games but it’s not to the level of Overheating. It is very easy to use and the connection is very fast. You are using USB 3.0 with the next gen feature on it to make it run fast. I have not experience any data losses on it so it seems very promising. Overall I would recommend picking this one up and it is very promising. It does come with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for one month so that is a nice bonus. Always make sure to register your product to Seagate to get that warranty if something does go wrong. Anyways that’s it, it’s a decent Game drive.

I was hesitating buying this product for years and I finally gave in⦠and I do not regret a thing. I never have to worry about storage space on my Xbox Series anymore. Even with over 30 games downloaded (not old 360 games) I still have 1.1 TB leftover! Iâm able to play brand new games straight off the external hardrive because it is the same kind as the internal harddrive! Itâs super portable, easy to install, and very functional. This is one of the biggest quality of life upgrades I made for my Xbox. I understand that the price is intimidating, but if you game regularly, then you CANNOT keep waiting. THIS PRODUCT IS WORTH IT.

Got this after my standard hard drive died after 5 years. Already have the 1 terabyte version, which is still going after 4 years, but losing 8 terabytes of backup storage hurt. Now having 4 terabytes of high speed storage is great, and the cards swap out nice and easy. This is a little pricey but worth it for the convenience imo.

Won’t hold Online service games
This 4TB drive is nearly perfect,except you may want to keep it unplugged to your console,cause if you leave it plugged in the next time you turn on the console,the screen will be black,and have to unplug the console itself,users may vary.Online service games can’t be downloaded on drive,example Overwatch,Darktide,First Descendants,NBA 2K,etc.If you want to hold,and save online service games buy a Seagate expansion card,made by the same company.Backwards compatible games are encouraged,old Xbox live arcade games,and apps vids,and more.Sorry if it feels like this review is all over the place,but I’ve only had it for a few weeks now.

Excellent product
I finally decided to get an Xbox Series X, and even though it was the 2tb version of the console I needed additional memory. The seagate 2tb expansion card is a very reliable item that downloads games and apps at quick speeds, and it hasn’t given me any issues to this point, The only issue that I have is that I’m already running out of memory and would’ve gone the 4tb expansion card route if seagate offered such an item. In summary it’s a great item that I would highly recommend, but seagate needs to offer a 4tb version of this item.
