I recently set up a comprehensive security system with four Mubview cameras: a battery-operated doorbell, a solar-powered exterior rotating camera, and two wired interior rotating cameras. Iâm thrilled with their performance!The cameras reliably detect human activity and allow me to monitor all four feeds simultaneously through an intuitive and well-designed app. Setup was a breeze, and I appreciate the lack of a subscription fee. Each camera has a micro SD card (purchased separately) that records whenever motion is detected, and you can also opt for continuous recording if you prefer.The doorbell camera’s battery lasts a solid three months on a full charge. Easy set up, clear picture, good motion detection, good app
Overall a good camera, well priced and easy to set up. I had 2 other make cameras ,(not mentioning names), returned because they would not connect easily without multiple tries to my wifi easily even after resets; and even after connecting, it would drop wifi or make me reformat my sd card for no reason. Just too complex. This one connected immediately, clear instructions and the picture is good. See the night mode pic vs the day mode of the same area, pretty good with only a street lamp post light. 2k – pretty clear, clearer than 1080p.Things to improve: 1.Doesnt differentiate between pet, human, object. The other camera did. I think you can pay for AI to do that but I’m not paying extra monthly for that. 2.You can fast forward captured motion 2x and 4x, I would like to see 6x and 8x. Its just software enhancement. 3. It captures motion and then has 1 minute of nothing following the motion. I would rather have 15 sec before the motion and 15 sec after the motion. Again, software. 4. You move your finger along a bar to get to next motion capture. Inaccurate. I would rather have a time setting where you input the time you want to start the motion viewing. That gives it to you to the second. All these enhancements I have seen on other cameras I have tried so I know its possible.Bottom line, I give it 5 stars because it works, good picture, no drop outs or resets after 2 weeks of use, and its easy to connect. I have a router that throws off 2.4g and 5g together and the camera auto connected to the 2.4, (its not 5g compatible), so that is not an issue. Some other make cameras have a problem and you have to shut off 5g at the router to connect. No prob here. App is easy to use, fast connections through wifi or cell towers, lots of options other than the ones I noted above. I recommend.

Cool, inexpensive home security
Got two of these because I went out of town a bit and left my college age son at home. Wanted to make sure he didn’t get into too many shenanigans then try to gaslight me with “Dad, that hole was aaaaalready in the wall,” when I got back.Simple installation. Both cams link up in an app. Cams able to be accessed remotely from anywhere. Can rotate left/right and up/down. No zoom that I noticed. They have audio send/receive. Also have motion and sound detection recording. Can also buy cloud storage. I thought the cams were a great value.Night vision works well. Multiple resolution settings available for live and recorded video. Multiple time settings available for triggered motion sensed.Why not 5 stars?- To record, you MUST have a microSD installed. You can view live from anywhere, but to record, gotta have a mSD installed. If ya don’t have the mSDs on hand, buy them the same time ya buy the cameras.- Installing mSD card could be smoother. Have to aim the camera all the way up and fidget the card in. The slot exposure isn’t ideal, so hard to get the card in. If the slot was able to pivot up about 5mm more, it’d go in easy peasy.- While the cam records well when motion is detected, when sound detection is set, and sound detected, it only seems to take a snapshot, rather than record video for a set period of time like detected motion. Maybe I just have a setting wrong.While I mention the above for your consideration, none would prevent me from buying these again, at the price point I purchased them. In fact, I’ll very likely purchase a Mubview doorbell cam soon due to the value and experience I had with these cams.Four stars from me, but still a recommendation to purchase, as the slight shortcomings don’t come close to outweighing the functionality for the price.I hope this review helps with your security cam purchasing decisions.Be well. Die Kamera wird nur Indoor verwendet. Mit einer Sd-Card ist auch das aufzeichne der Videos in einer “Cloud” möglich( Also auf der Sd-Karte aber vom Mobiltelefon aufrufbar). Die App ist gut bedienbar und gerade die Geräuschaktivierung ist hervorragend. Die Bewegungs-Erkennung ist etwas träge, sobald eine Bewegung erkannt wurde, folgt die Kamera jedoch relativ zuverlässig der Person. Nachts ist die Bildqualität genau so wie Tags gut.
