Dispenses on its own
I have been searching for a gravity automatic cat feeder for a very long time and finally found this one. After trying several other brands & designs, I finally found one that actually works as designed! The food falls out slowly and sometimes I jiggle the food so that more comes out, but this one works so much better than any of the others I’ve tried. I feel so much more confident leaving my kitties for the weekend knowing they have consistent food. I love this one so much, I bought two. Highly recommend!

THIS WORKS! No more shaking the bowl!
For 20 years I’ve been searching for a gravity feeder that actually does the one thing it’s built to do: dispense food into the bowl. And for 20 years, every single brand I’ve tried has required me to periodically shake the bowl in order to make this happen. Doesn’t matter if it was a name brand or a generic model; they all got bunched up in the chute. In desperation I decided to give this one a try. I saw other reviews mentioning that users didn’t have to shake it. I was skeptical, but figured I’d just return it if it didn’t work out.After a few weeks of use, I am excited to say that THIS ACTUALLY WORKS! As the cats eat, food just freely flows down into the bowl. We never have to shake the bowl and we never see the bottom of the dish. It … just … works. If you’ve been searching in vain for a gravity feeder that actually does the job, you’ve found it.I see some reviews mentioning assembly difficulties. We had no such problems, but I think I see where they might be having trouble. The top (the clear plastic tube) has to twist into place. If you try to force it down or make it “snap”, you’re going to break the plastic tabs. Once it’s twisted into place, there is absolutely no way a pet can knock the thing off.

Cheap, poorly made, and doesn’t work
The product is entirely plastic and the cutouts are not where they are supposed to be. The clear part does not correctly latch to the bottom housing even after over an hour of trying to twist, turn, force, and fix it. I’m not sure if that is why it doesn’t work as advertised, but regardless:My eats out of the middle of the bowl. Food from the sides starts to fall in on the center, but more food will still not come out of the opening. I have to stick my fingers into it every day to try to get more food out, which complete defeats the purpose.It’s just a poorly made and disappointing product that I tried to make work, but I will be returning it. I do not recommend it at all.

It’s the perfect size and aesthetic but the food holder arrived broken and doesn’t snap in all the way to keep the food holder secure. i’m keeping it bc i really needed it but i wish it wasn’t broken.

Excellent Gravity Dry Food Cat/Dog Feeder
I am a Ragdoll kitten breeder. I have multiple automatic dry food feeders, however, during pregnancy and until the kittens are weaned the Mother/aka as Queen needs constant access to dry food.What I like about this feeder is:1) Stainless food bowl which is durable, hygienic material, non-toxic material, and easy to clean.2) The clear dry food container b/c you can see when you need to add dry food.3) The feeder has an extra piece at the base that tilts the dry food down, ensuring that it is always accessible.4) The container is cat-proof thanks to its secure lid and rotating base.

It works but not the greatest out there
I really want to like this feeder but i have an issue with it that makes me almost want to return. The food gets stuck. I am using regular bagged cat food and the food gets stuck in the chute. I have to give it a shake to fill the dish. My kitty’s give me that iâm hungry look. On the good side it was easy to assemble, it holds a good amount of food and itâs easy to take apart to clean. While it looks good and matches out kitchen I would look for another brand that does not hold my kitties food hostage.

Easy to clean, looks nice, doesnât clog
I wasnât sure about getting this feeder but it was the nicest looking one so I gave it a try. Iâm glad I did! All the pieces are easy to clean and assemble. It works exactly as it should and looks so much nicer than others. I use this for my three cats and found the size to be perfect. If you are wondering if itâs worth the money, it is.

This is the first gravity feeder that actually works. I love it. My cats arenât happy, I used to have to go in every couple of hours to shake the old gravity feeder to drop food down and they made a game of it. Now Iâm only checking up on it once a day.I have bought more expensive ones that did not work. This is awesome. I wish it was a tad bit bigger but that is only preference.For the cost this is awesome!!!

I didnât want an automatic feeder, as I donât need to control how much my cat eats. I wanted a gravity feeder, and more importantly, one with a removable dish for cleaning. This one has a stainless steel dish, which is huge bonus because plastic can harbour germs and bacteria that can cause infections in your petâs mouth. Stainless steel does not, but should still be washed frequently and thoroughly. One tiny little drawback we have found is when the kibble gets down to about 1/3 it doesnât spill out as well so you have to help it. This almost defeats the purpose if you want this to feed your pet when youâre away.

Iâm not sure how this item has received so many 4 and 5 star reviews because it doesnât work.I bought this for my two cats so I donât have to keep refilling their food dishes every day but unfortunately the food doesnât dispense on its own and they have small dry kibble. As others have mentioned, you have to shake it to get any food to come out which completely defeats the purpose. This wouldnât be useful if youâre planning to use it to feed your cats while youâre away – while this is a nice looking dispenser, I would avoid purchasing and find an alternative that actually works.

The container is ok, but not very secure. The tank/container attachment to the base is precarious, especially when the tank is full. My dog kibble is for a medium dog, so it’s not small kibble; it’s a bit heavy. One knock and the tank will come apart and spill over. The edge and bowl tends to inhibit more kibble from releasing, so half the time, my dog thinks she’s out of food. I have to knock the base for more kibble to release. I was so busy, it’s now too late for me to return.
