I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews that the handle and/or barrel was too big and difficult to use. I am a 65 year old with arthritis in a few of my finger joints. While the handle is a bit larger than most blow dryers, I’m pleased to say I had no difficulty managing it. I am so glad I decided to give it a try.

Good dryer and volumizing brush
I generally like this hair dryer brush by Nimmu. I have thick hair and it generally takes a very long time for me to style it while drying, and having the dryer and brush combined makes the process easier. For the drying side, this really pumps out high heat, and it dries my hair very well. Cool setting has equal air output. It doesn’t straighten my hair as well as I had hoped, requiring some flat ironing, but it does provide for good hair volume. While it works well, I think you really need to have larger hands for this for more comfortable use, as it has a very thick handle. Thankfully, it’s not heavy. Cord design is great and ample amount too, and the controls located in the base are easy to use. I think it’s a bit on the pricey side without a discount coupon, and with that it is more in line with competitive products.

Like It Better Than Well Known Version!
I really like this heated dryer brush. It’s loud, but not any louder than the other versions on the market. I have the popular version of this sold in most of the home stores and liked it fine. I do however like this better. I think it does a better job of smoothing and adding shine to my hair. I think it’s a stretch saying you can use this as a curling iron. You can definitely get waves or curled up/under ends, but I think it would be very hard to get curls all the way up the hair shaft. It didn’t snag my hair too bad and the results were good. I would recommend this and assuming it holds up over time, I’d be willing to get another down the road!

easy to use
This hair dryer brush is definitely much easier to use for styling compared to holding both a hair dryer and a brush at the same time. It’s rather large with an oval shaped brush. The hair coming out of the brush isn’t very forceful like a regular hair dryer, but enough to dry and style my straight hair. There are three settings on the brush – cool, low, and high. The high setting can get pretty hot, but the top of the brush stays cool so I can hold the end in place while styling. It would have been nice if the dryer had separate heat and speed settings. I wasn’t able to get it to curl my hair, but it might be that the brush barrel is too big for my medium hair length. I am able to really nicely smooth out my hair and curve the ends. For my hair, I still prefer to use a hair dryer first to partially dry my hair (it’s faster and gives me more volume), especially at the roots. I then use this blow dryer brush to smooth and style my hair. Overall, it works pretty well.

Does what it advertises
The dryer itself seems well made. The bag is just right for it and it is adjustable. Although you can only adjust one switch between the three temperature settings.I got this for my wife and she really likes it. She says it is a little large overall but that does make it easier to use with larger sections of hair. The handle does not get hot and she likes this a lot better than trying to use a dryer and brush at the same time. She also has a hot comb but she says this works better than than and it makes for more of large wave kind of style if she wants to do it that way. She has short curly hair and usually just straightens it on special occasions. So she does not put a lot of undue stress on her hair. She said she would recommend it.

Not built to last
I have had it for less than 2 months. I use it everyday. The bristles are meltng and falling out. I lovehow hot it gets and that the tip stays cool, but they should have used more heat resistant bristles.

Works great and easy to use
This is a very good blow dryer brush. It dried my hair quickly, and the brush left lots of volume in it. I have hair that is just beyond chin length, yet the big brush still worked well to lift and volumize. It was super easy to use rather than juggling a dryer and brush. This is very lightweight, so it’s not tiresome to hold and use. The swivel cord makes it easy to use around your whole head without getting the electrical cord all tangled up. Additionally, this brush does not tangle in my hair. The power settings are as I expect. The “high” is hot and powerful. It dries quickly and sets the volume in. The “low” is weak, but it can be a good break from the hot. Better, though, is the “cool” is powerful and feels good.The lightweight, although helpful when using it, does worry me because it feels a little flimsier than I would like. The switch for power and control twists around the base, and mine is a little loose. I have to wiggle it quite a bit before I engaged it to get to high, but that seemed to fix it. However, the brush bristles and the power cord are sturdy. The purple color is pretty, so I don’t mind leaving it out on my counter between uses.This is a great little brush dryer. At the current price, it’s not a bad value, although I don’t think it’s in the tier that command the cost. However, it also has a 50% off coupon, which puts the price point accurate for the quality.
