I like the easy way this slap band holds my yoga mat. I have 2 things that annoy me, even though they are both in the nature of slap bands. The first is, watch your fingers. The slap is significant due to the size of this band and it really hurts when you catch your fingers. The second is that it leaves a groove in my mat where the top edge of the band curls in a little under the rest of the band.

Okay so this thing is like those slap bracelets that us 90’s kids got when we were little, it’s just a super sized one. It kind of brought back memories lol! Anyways, it works perfectly to keep my mat rolled up, which has always been a pain for me. Cheap, well-made, and does what it says!

I used it on my gaiam mat and the band is too short so the ends bulge where they meet. Use only on thin mats so you don’t get frustrated.

Perfect, holds well
This is my first yoga mat and I didnât even know what a slap band was. Itâs so easy to put on to keep the mat rolled up. I thought it would never go around easily but it does. If I was going out to yoga classes, Iâd probably want an over the shoulder carrying case, in addition. I wouldnât NEED a carrying case, but that would be good if also carrying a gym bag. I just use mine at home, for physical therapy exercises so Iâm using this to keep it rolled up and out of the way. I could easily carry it under my arm with this band on it.

Literally the best mat strap/band for easy storage. I use one with a shoulder strap for on the go, but this would also be a great option in a pinch. Really easy to use, holds the mat however tight you rolled it and doesn’t loosen/relax over time.
