Good screen protector
Love this screen protector. Itâs been on my new iPhone for some months and it definitely prevents a glare when Iâm outside. I donât write reviews often, but I was thinking about how much I enjoyed using this screen protector that I just had to write one. I wanna start off by saying ITS NOT FOR EVERYONE! Youâll either love it or hate it. I love the feel I get when I type or scroll, itâs refreshing to have some sort of feedback instead of just glass. I also love reading on my phone now, it feels more like a kindle in a way. The protector also does a good job with the anti glare.However, there are a few trade offs youâll have to accept to enjoy it. If you use your phone with a high brightness level, you might notice the loss in resolution more and notice things like a rainbow effect. This is especially noticeable on white colors, they look as if the screen were greasy and show pixels. Iâve gotten used to it and have my phone on dark mode, low brightness, so itâs not as noticeable. Iâve only had it for a few weeks, and it still looks brand new. I expect with time, the finish may wear off or scratch, but only time will tell. Also they donât include a installation tray to get the protector perfectly on the screen.

I use Mothica screen protectors on all of my electronics. I love the matte finish, and the texture of the screen. The only disadvantage I have found is if you have a button or something rubbing up against it in the same spot all day every day you will get a shiny spot. But thatâs to be expected. Great for the Price!
I’ve never installed a screen myself before but it was pretty simple! (Did a little cat hair sneak its way underneath my screen after I’d wiped it? Yes, but that is not anybody’s fault but mine for not noticing!). I personally am partial to the matte screen protectors for my phone for a few reasons. 1) there is much less glare from the sun reflecting back at me on sunny days (good while driving and having the GPS up!) 2)less fingerprints! the matte nature of this protector makes it so fingerprints aren’t as noticeable, and very easy to wipe off. Additionally, I just enjoy the slight resistance from the touchscreen. I must say, that when I first got the matte protector a few years ago for an older phone, I initially disliked it since I was used to the normal ones, but now that I’m used to it, I really enjoy it. I’ve had it on for a month or so and have no complaints. Would buy again!
