Perfect for travel
We went out of town for 3 days and my 16 year old cat was fed at 7 am each morning with no problem. I was able to put her wet food in it and it didn’t dry out.

Automatic feeder
I bought this for my Maine Coon cat and although she feared it at first, now she runs to it when she hears it opening. The only issue is that the bowls are rather deep for her – probably better for a dog but I needed a feeder that I could operate with an app. ( remotely)

Donât do it.
I rarely write reviews, but allow me to weigh in on your purchase decision. The packaging is really nice, the app is fine. But itâs near impossible to open the feeder. It has helpful arrows on the sides indicating you twist it to open and unlock, but because itâs flush with the base, you have no leverage to twist it off. It took me 5 minutes to finagle it open and is immensely annoying.

This Geeni is easy to use. Simply download the app and start using the feeder.Geeni Features include schedule feedings, shared app, personal voice recording, battery backup ( in case of power failure) and many more.This smart pet feeder has voice assistant which integrates with Alexa and Google Home, for hands-free commands.This Geeni smart feeder is really useful as a backup feeding system, just in case.Another consideration is that one Geeni feeder is more geared towards single pet households. In multi-pet, (especially multi-cat homes), this can be problematic, since cats may fight or push away others trying to eat from a single feeder. Personally, we have three cats, three feeders, all of which are trained to their specific feeder. Never an issue.We absolutely love the Geeni Smart Pet feeder and recommend it. Puts your mind at ease and keeps your pet happy, in case your late.

Auto pet feeder
This little machine is great! It was easy to set up with my phone app and love that is will record your voice for your pet.The only thing I am still having problems, is locating four more ice packs so you can have one set to use and the other to stay in freezer. Because of its internal design, I have not even found any generic or on manufacturing website

Okay for a short amount of time per use
I was able to set this up (with a little extra finagling) and connect to my Alexa account. I can program the feeder to feed my poodle once or twice per day on days when I know I will be late getting home from work (and he took the day off because he is usually at work with me). When he first interacted with it, he twisted his head to listen and check it out. He has since come to welcome the sound that alerts him his meal is about to distributed. I use this to feed him his dry food so we have not used the ice packs. I prefer to feed him his moist food myself so that itâs always fresh and slightly warmed for him. This is good for short trips away from your fur baby but not as a regular feeder since it does not give the option to hold large amounts of food to distributed over many feedings/days.

A cool product, not a necessary one for most anyway
If you have a need for a machine that feeds your furbaby on a schedule, at specific times every day, then this would be a good product for you. When I ordered this product, I didn’t realize it was for multiple full meal feedings. I thought it was an automatic feeder that provided a certain amount of kibble from a stored amount already inside, like I have had before. The ones that you put a large amount of kibble inside, and then set a timer for it to release kibble at preferred times. This one is meant to have 5 full meals inside, one serving that is provided at the time you set it to. It does not have a storage area to hold several days worth of kibble. This would be filled daily, like in the morning before you leave. It would provide meals throughout the day, and need to be refilled every day. Unless you were to fill the five meal slots with wet food, and have a separate dispenser for dry food. If you have a dispenser that holds several days worth of kibble, and this one with wet food, then you could technically use this if you will be gone for a couple days. I don’t recommend leaving your babies at home alone for days at a time though. Perhaps if you had a dog sitter, then then they wouldn’t have to worry about feedings. For those that work all day or are gone for an entire day, this would be good. Although, if it were me, I would be afraid it would malfunction somehow , and not give my dog their food as it’s supposed to. It has an app that you can download and actually dispense food as you go, instead of programming it. That is a cool feature. It also works with Alexa and Google Home, and includes four ice packs to keep their food fresh.Overall this is a very cool, modern high tech, convenient product that can ease some worries when it comes to your furbabies. If you are away a lot, it would help to lessen your worry over them getting their food as they need. I think the $80 price tag is pretty appropriate for what it does, and the bonus features with it. I would recommend this to anyone that has to be away from home for 1+ days. I do not think this would be a necessary product if you are home with your dog every day, at least half the day. Unless you just want a really cool product like this, of course. Because it is pretty neat. As far as how it functions, and reliability, I have not yet used and tested it enough to say. I will update this review if I have any issues after using it for a while longer. As of now, I have used it for almost 2 days with no malfunctions. I will reassess at day 5.

The feeder doesnt spin when fully loaded and gets stuck 90% of the time. Possibily due weight but unsure why.App has a manual feed button but it never works for me… Likely outdated and doesn’t work with all smartphone.Refunded.
