I have to say, after reading some of the reviews I was a little scared to buy the set. I have 47 years cooking experience for a family of 6. I also have a Contour 12″ fry pan my fiance bought for me & I have had no problems with it, in fact I love this fry pan! So I took the plunge & bought the Contour set! My set came & they were just beautiful! Not a scratch or dent to be found anywhere. I have cooked everything in them with no problems (sticking, cleaning etc.) no marks , discoloration or pitting like some people have complained about. Handles & lid handles are fine, don’t get hot enough for use of oven mitts. I have cooked tomato sauce & meatballs & let them simmer on the stove & have no sticking what so ever.The instructions are very clear about cooking temps. & cleaning process. I take a lot of pride in my cooking & how my pots & pans look. Cleaning is quick & simple. No more time to clean than any non stick set.No scrubbing needed! And they look beautiful. As good as new! Please Do Not let the negative reviews deter you from ordering these pots & pans, I love mine & I am sure you will Not be disappointed in this purchase! Just remember: Read the instructions & you will NOT have any problems, A few old hints: lower heat & heat the pan a little before putting oil or butter in the pan & everything will cook fine. Cooking with s.s. is different than non stick pans. And if something does stick,( old hint) put on stove with water & boil for a couple mins. & it will come right out & Bar Keepers Friend will become YOUR BEST FRIEND. It takes 2 seconds to use & saves on dish soap! Also if you find shadows of what you cooked in the pan, use about 1/8 th cup of vinegar to a cup or 2 of water & boil on stove & shadows will disappear like magic!I only saw a shadow once & never again! Also make sure you dry the pans well, I use a microfiber cloth & they shine like new! LOVE MY POTS & PANS! Wish you all luck with them. I have had an excellent experience with mine! 1 more thing, my fiance said he paid big bucks in the store for 1 12″ pan, so i found the price on Amazon to be very good as well.

Beautiful but hard to clean
This cookware is beautiful. But it is very easy for food to stick, no matter what I do. I have followed the instructions and suggestions that came with it, donât use high heat, donât use nonstick spray. It also says donât use anything abrasive to clean or dishwasher detergent with lemon or stainless utensils. I was surprised at how many picky instructions there were. After just a few uses the bottom of the skillet is cloudy. So overall Iâm disappointed. I researched and tried to make a good decision for usability and economy. I donât think this cookware is going to last like my previous set, which was Farberware that took me through 35 years of daily use and came out of the dishwasher shiny and clean. Also the handles get too hot to handle being used on the stovetop. You will have to keep a potholder handy, which if your not accustomed to will get you!

Beautiful set, hard to clean.
So, to be fair to these pretty pansâ¦maybe some of this is user error. Iâve always considered myself to be a pretty decent home cook, but these pans have me feeling like a really bad one.EVERYTHING sticks. Iâve tried preheating them and not preheating them, cooking spray, olive oil and butter. Everything sticks and these heat up very hot very quickly so I have to set the burners very low. Even with the burner on low, meat and pancakes burn on the outside and are raw on the inside. Eggs stick so badly that I end up losing half of them to the pan.If I had has these problems before, it would be different but nothing has changed about my cooking technique except for the pans I use .Thankfully they werenât super expensive so I wont be too upset if we have to replace them.I wouldnt recommend these to others, and wouldnât purchase again myself. Beautiful shape and they technically do the job, but⦠not user friendly

I’m used to using non-stick cookware, but I wanted to veer away from chemicals in my cookware, so I went with stainless this time. I’ve used stainless cookware previously and had a hard time cooking some things (like fried eggs) and a hard time cleaning them too. I haven’t had that issue with this set. I’ve used this set for two weeks, and I haven’t had any issues cleaning them, and have used them to fry eggs on multiple occasions. They do take a little getting used to after using non-stick cookware for so long, but I’m very happy I’ve made the switch. This is such a beautiful set, I love the shape of this cookware. The only complaint I have about them, is that you can’t stack them. On some cookware sets, you can turn the lids upside down over the pot, and this will create a stable enough surface to set another pot on top of it. This is not the case with this set. If you put the lids upside down over these pots, they’ll slide around a lot and aren’t a stable enough surface for another pot. So, if you’re short on space in your kitchen and want to stack these, I recommend getting a lid rack. I also did notice some discoloration in the interior of the pots after use (kind of an oxidized look to the metal), but the exterior still looks beautiful.

los tamaños de los sartenes bien genial la vaporera para las verduras la olla es bastante grande muy buena para una familia de 5 personas solo el sarten mas chico se opaco un poco.tengan cuenta que nos es teflonizada pero es mejor asi es mas limpia y igienieca pero cure uno de los satenes a alta temperatura y se pega menos los huevos que por lo regular es como la comparativa en general my buena a mi me gusto la usamos diario y los mangos no calientan nada my recomendable y muy buena calidad

Eh notado comentario de que se pega, mancha o algún detalle con cuestiones que no tiene que ver con el material, el material no es de mala calidad lo qué tal vez pasa es que no saben usar este tipo se utensilio y no saben dar mantenimiento, ya que aún que son duraderos se les pule, se les cuida al igual que si fueran se Teflon pero con la certeza se que jamás tendrás alimentos con Teflon por raparlos por accidente, recomiendo que antes de querer comprar algo, primero se informen sobre el uso, mantenimiento y cuidado que se le debe de dar, y si pueden hasta unas pequeñas clases de cocina tomar, llevó usándolos un buen rato y en mermeladas, cremas, salsas dentro de mi negocio y les puedo decir que a pesar de no ser profesionales dan batalla y el calor es uniforme.Estaré renovando mi post en unos meses.
