Attractive, functional, excellent for display. My one 4 Star concerns are sound well above 10 decibels and Lifecycle of motors.Excellent for the day’s watch and jewelry selection in a secure location. I would not recommend this for a child’s bedroom or sleeping area. Watches of most sizes fit well in the tender harness. If this were only for display a 5 star review would be no issue. However, the loud motor and open storage do not suit placement in a secured location such as a safe, as the sound will exit a safe as thick as a 6″ wall, padded Browning 16 gun safe. The size is suited to open display or hiding, yet the sound will draw attention; by no means am I concerned such a sade wouldbetapped for watches. If your goal is display and basic function this tender is an excellent buy. Tends Swiss and European Watches well. One side doesn’t work
UPDATE: When packing for return, I noticed an access panel on the bottom of the unit. Upon opening, discovered the power lead from the nonfunctioning winder motor was dislodged from the board, which was an easy enough fix to reattach. Quick function check and now both sides are working as they should. Updated rating to four stars.ORIGINAL REVIEW: This review is for the Vlando Automatic Double Watch Winder. I’m happy with the design and cosmetic craftsmanship for the money. Unfortunately, only one of the watch winders actually rotates, so the functionality leaves something to be desired. Will need to return unless there’s an easy & permanent fix.

Wonderful Winder!
This double winder is perfectâ¦super quiet operationâ¦and the adjustable watch pillows can accommodate large watches as seen in the photo. The Ventura Spark MGS is an unconventional shape and larger than the manufacturer recommends, but it works perfectly. Added storage compartments above are a nice feature as well as being able to choose whether the lights are on or off.

Worth the extra money

Quiet, option to have light on or off, but if you have small wrists the watch may not fit
Overall I like the design and the quality seems good. My wife and I both have small wrists. Our watches have stainless bands. I have my cuff on the smallest setting and I had to remove the adjustable cuff from my wife’s side as I couldn’t close the clasp. If its a leather of fabric band you are ok, but if its a fixed size metal band with clasp it may not work. Overall it seems good, but wish it had more size options.

This winder looks good, and quietly goes about doing what it says: 2min rotation one direction, pause for 6min, then 2min rotation the other direction. My Seiko watches are happy to be wound in both directions, and feature a slip-clutch sort of mechanism that prevents any over-winding. Both holders always rotate in unison, the second rear-panel switch is for lighting.During the 2min rotation, the holders complete ~16 turns. For my Seiko 4Rxx movements, both directions will then produce 2880 turns-per-day; a uni-directional watch (ie Miyota/Citizen) will experience 1440 turns-per-day. This is not adjustable, and entirely suits my Seikos (they will be fully-charged, every time!).The additional top-of-unit storage is handy for tie-clips, cuff-links, rings, spare watch-bands or other small items. This storage makes the entire winder larger than a winder-only – check your intended location for sufficiency.As for finishing: you won’t find any padding, nor any premium materials. The top “trap-door-lid” has decorative stitching, as does the vinly-lined top storage “well”. Both the velvet-like liner and the vinyl surfaces are neatly applied, without gaps nor visible glue. The viewing window is plastic – mine arrived perfectly scratch-free and again neatly installed. There are no odours (of plastic, glue, etc) that I could detect.The pillows and watch holders are adjustable, by selecting one of three slots on the back of the holder. I have small wrists (6-1/4″ strap) and the smallest setting holds my watches securely. The holders fit snugly into the winder, with a modest amount of force required for both detaching, and re-inserting. I like (and feel that my Seikos benefit from) the vertical orientation of the watch-face during winding.Summary: If your watch can tolerate over-winding, this is an economical, quiet, nice-looking winder with additional storage.UPDATE 1: After a month, this winder became noisier. I had to move it from bedside nightstand into a closet. It continues to work well, but maybe some “gear break-in” has now occurred and it is noiser. I tend to leave a pair of lesser-used watches in this winder all the time, so it’s gently turning/resting all the time

Looks cool at night and the watch reflects the light in many dazzling ways as it spins.The test of time remains. It does have a small 30 day warranty, so letâs see how long it goes after that period.
