The only bed my dog has ever used
I’ve tried cushions of a similar type, minus the ‘arm’ rests, as well as the circle beds, the pillow-style beds, and just a flat-out blanket. My dog likes to find someplace soft to sleep – not that I blame him, but it often turns into a sneaking onto my couch situation… I noticed that whenever I’m home he’s always resting his head on something, so that gave me the idea to find a dog bed with ‘pillows’ for my aging boy.Made sure to introduce it to him gently and get him to lay down with some physical affection and praise, like we’ve done with all of the beds we’ve tried. Now he’s excited to lay there and happily wags his tail at me when I look at him while he’s in his bed. The reason I know he was on the couch ‘secretly’ (minus the dog-hair trail) was a security camera I have hooked up in my living room. Now he lays on his bed while my husband and I are at work and it’s great! No more climbing on my coffee table to knock the ottoman off of the cushion so he can climb in and sleep while we’re gone, so it’s really a double bonus for us.What your dog wants or needs may be different than mine- just like some people prefer hard or soft beds and pillows or thick and thin blankets. Mine wanted pillows, go figure. The material doesn’t feel exceptionally high-quality, but it is also a pretty cheap pet-bed so I feel I got what I paid for. With a pooch who didn’t use beds prior, I was very leery about getting another one that might not get used to begin with. The inside is a simple foam with the ridges. Nothing fancy or special. Still better than the floor, I guess.

Great for dogs with hip issues
My dog Thor, has been struggling with hip pain lately, so I decided to invest in the Furhaven orthopedic dog bed. Clearance beware
We have had our bed for year now. As a puppy our Great Dane tore the first cover and I ordered a replacement. It was great but I hated when it needed to be washed and we didn’t have a cover. When I saw this on clearance I thought great I will have a back up. I ordered and it sat on my dresser for over a month. It arrive in an Amazon bag packaging and plastic shrink wrap. It was taped all around the Amazon bag. Inside the cover did not look like it was new but it was clean so I figured who cares. This weekend I decided to wash his other cover and replace with this newer one for a while. It didn’t seem to fit as well and if you see the 2 last pictures the inside mattress looks too big. It’s tight but not like it is the smaller size cover plus the arm rest fits perfect. The zipper location was different than our other cover as well. Once I finally wrestled it on and set it in our room I noticed there was a hole along the seam. Something is off either this is a lower quality model than our other replacement or I was sold something used. The width and height are fitting but the depth size seems off. Unfortunately I waited to long to change it out and now I can not return it. I can see the seam but I shouldn’t have to. Buyer be ware just because it costs less than the original doesn’t mean it’s as good!

My dog took to it right away
My dog is 7 years old and never slept in any dog bed I purchased. I bought this bed because he had a dislocated hip and is unable to jump up on the couch where he likes to sleep. I placed the bed in front of the couch with one of his blankets slightly draped over part of the bed. This morning, I found him in the bed! I was so happy and he looked so comfortable. I then moved the bed to the family room so he could be with us during the day and he went right in it again. Couldn’t be happier.

My sweet dog loves her new bed. I got a size large and my dog is a medium sized 35lb dog. She has plenty of space to spread out and likes the raised sides to rest against. The bed is very soft and my dog who can be picky liked it right away. Would definitely buy again.

8 week old pug in photos for size reference. This seems like it will also be a good fit when she is fully grown. The top section of the cushion is shaped like the bottom of an egg crate, but soft so it seems to offer a nice support. The removable cover is nice, we slipped a pee pad in there the first night just in case, but it wasn’t necessary. The brown cover has a soft sort of fuzzy and warm material that looks so nice to sleep on. The couch side/back cushions are soft like a supportive pillow. They will sink a bit if she wants to use it as a pillow, but it is secure enough to also use as a backrest/security wall while sleeping. This entire bed is so ligjtweight that when the box arrived I thought they forgot to put anything inside it! Recommend for small dogs (maybe good for large ones too, I just don’t have experience with that). I would definitely purchase again if needed or to have a bed in multiple locations. Good product for a decent price.
