This one actually did hold all of it and it held in place all day.My clip started breaking after a year. The pin that goes down the middle of the spring would pop out of place and Iâd have to put it back into place like once a week. Then I noticed that there was a part by the pin that broke, so I think my clipâs days are coming to an end.For this price, I think I got a good amount of use out of it

Best extra large octopus/spider clips I have ever owned
I’ve had 3 of these (2 brown, 1 black) for probably about a year now and they are all as good as new. I have had very long, average to thicker hair off and on for most of my life and used to buy the extra large Goody clips and just expect to break them to break after a few weeks. I thought it was just inevitable. These are beautiful, they are functional and hold a ton of hair, and best of all they are also incredibly strong, stronger that I ever imagined a hair clip could be. I think the resin they are made of must be stronger and probably also flexes better than plastic since I am kind of a klutz and I would definitely have expected to break at least one by now. These have been are well worth the money and I will never go back to buying cheaper American brands of extra large octo-clips made of plastic again. These are so much better and long-term they will pay for themselves over constantly breaking and buying new plastic clips. If you’re on the fence, just get one and you won’t regret it. I did and I ended up ordering two later more just for the convenience of having a spare in a different part of the house and also the color variety. But you only really need one because it may well last forever.
