serves its purpose
My family was moving to a new home in a new town so i worried if my pup wonders off, she wouldn’t find her way back to an unfamiliar house. I wanted something a little more “advanced” than your standard dog tag & one that didn’t jingle noisily while she walks. This little silicone QR code fits snuggly on her collar without worry of it slipping off or breaking. The QR code was easy to use, it scans properly every time, and the profile was very easy to set up. It gives just the right amount of information and allows you to add several pictures of your pet for identification purposes. It is a bit strange to me that there is no app associated with the product, so you just have to remember the website every time you need to go to your pets profile. I think the addition of a smartphone app would make this a perfect product; But at such a great price and the ease of use, this product still deserves 5 stars.

This dog tag is super easy to set up and with no ongoing fees is a great economic alternative to other online solutions.I don’t know how long the code will keep legible but at this price I bought a backup that I’ll probably use to replace the orginal down the line if the tag starts fading.

I was able to set this up very quickly. I chose one that slides on the collar in hopes that if my girl won’t be picked up that someone will be able to snap a picture or tap the NFC and drop a pin where she was seen. So far, it has stayed at the back of her neck and not slipped around the collar. The silicone doesn’t seem to pull her hair.I have tested the qr and nfc and both work perfectly. The website pulls up a short profile that shows your animal’s picture full screen with the information on text overlay and a large flashing button that calls the owner and another button that will drop a pin at your location and notify the owner via email which has a link that opens my Google Maps app so I can get directions to where she was seen.I feel like it will be more useful than her ID tag, especially if she’s unwilling to be caught, and the pin drop will be super helpful.
