Better than I expected
First and foremost, the one I got is an oval instead of a circle but I actually like it better than the one posted so it doesnât bother me. Other than the shape everything is exactly as shown though. Bigger than I expected. This is exactly what I needed since Iâm gone at work most days and my kitten gets bored of his other little toys. The quality is great. Not too heavy but still dense enough to feel sturdy & durable. The wood is sanded smooth so it doesnât feel like it would crack and splinter. & it comes with grip pads to stick to the bottom to keep it from sliding on hard floors. Itâs like he just KNEW it was for him too. While I was putting it together, which was a BREEZE btw (tools included!), he followed me and sat down in front of me meowing waiting for me to put it down for him lol. 5 minutes in & as you can tell, he loves it!!! Very stimulating. Worth the buy.

Decent, but way over priced
Itâs a decent example of these cat track toys, and the base and frame are wood rather than plastic. The wood is extremely thin and lightweight though, and the entire toy itself is smaller than the listed dimensions (example-it claims 18â length but is actually less than 12â. See photo with 8â long cat in the hat toy for reference) I think the scratch pad on top is a neat idea, and the springy grey ball/bell attached to the top piece is a pretty good example of that kind of toy, as itâs thick, well made metal for the spring and you can barely touch it and itâll rock back and forth for quite a while. I like that one of the three balls is a bell, but my cat seems unsure and hesitant of it, so I may have to disassemble the toy and remove the bell for him to fully enjoy it. And even as itâs much smaller than claimed size, itâs still okay and Iâd still have bought it. But this is in no way at all a nearly $40 toy, due to its small size and cheap materials. If it were half the price, itâd be great-or if it were as large as claimed and used thicker or a more sturdy wood type like oak rather than bamboo, which is brittle and prone to cracking and breaking, itâs still better than a super tiny plastic one thatâd get slapped across the room if my car were to play with it.

Good, quality
For the most part everything seems to be of decent quality. The only very minor thing I would say is that I wish that the gray ball was brown and actually matched the wood because it’s kind of out of place color wise but it’s not a big deal. There was initial interest from my cat, more from the rolling balls than the actual poofy one. After the first day I haven’t seen my cat that interested in it but cats are a bit weird with toys so I still have to see how much he likes it in the long run and if he warms up to it more aside from initial curiosity.

Iâve had this for 3 months & have 2 cats. One is very energetic, oneâs reserved. Reserved one doesnât use.Pros: Price was fair, set up is easy, 1/2 cats loves the rolling balls, design is simple and cute and not an eye sore in my living room like some other cat toys.Cons: neither of my cats have ever used the scratching part. Theyâve always used any scratcher but something about this one isnât clicking with them. Neither use the spring/ball on top, so I removed to see if that would entice them to scratch, but nothing yet. The balls are loud. My kitty occasionally entertains herself with this in the mornings and it wakes me up, I think a plastic one would be quieter, but not as cute. At one point the top got loose so the balls rolled out, but it just required tightening on the bottom bolt to fix.

My cat doesnât really use the scratcher portion, but she loves to chase the little balls. It keeps her occupied for a good while. The bell is definitely loud, but I donât mind it. You have the option to not put the bell in with the other balls, too.

Super quick to assemble. They like the balls, the scratch pad, and the puffy ball on top. Thereâs normally one laying on it to âclaimâ it from the others. The jingle ball is pretty loud and theyâre surprisingly not fond of it? Just loosened it up and took it out. Mine are all ball lovers so I think itâs more the jingle is too much all the time. Itâs in another toy now and they bat it around once in a while and then leave it.

My cat loves this contraption but she doesnât want to seem TOO into it. She likes to play it cool. She will lay right next to it and consistently hit the ball as it comes around but she does this unenthusiastically. Anyway – itâs her favorite toy. Itâs built well. Itâs not heavy enough for her to effectively use the scratch pad on top but she will occasionally try anyway. If you want your cat to feel like they excel in something without much effort then buy this.
