Good concept and idea but does not work in reality
The feeder box is a good concept / idea but it is not practical and durable. The plastic material is fragile and breaks easily making it a choking hazard or gI obstruction for the dog if swallowed. I tried feeding from the tray to get my dog used to the new vessel he was ok with that then I put the tray of food inside and shut it to see how he does when the box owns and makes treats availableâ¦. What I realized was that my smart dog knew his fav treats were in the box and couldnât wait patiently ð for a couple of hours for the box to open and let him get to the food .. he is used to his treat dispensing puzzle toys and used all the tricks up his sleeve to get the box open ⦠pawing , biting at it , shoving it around the house , tumbling it upside down ⦠I was terrified that he will destroy the box and choke on the plastic pieces and if left unsupervised with batteries in it would probably paw at and open the battery compartment and swallow them as well ⦠I would not take that chance so I decided to return the box â¦.ðonce the dog smells accessible food he is not going to patiently wait for the box to open automatically ð

So far the timer has had no problems.My dog needs medication at 7pm and sometimes I am not always home. He has learned when it opens and to take his meds. I still set it up every morning when I’ll be home so he is in habit of taking meds alone. Hence, great as I don’t have to rush back home.

Timer works great and kitty loves it!
This is a great little product. Purchased a second one just recently which is slightly different than this one I guess they changed the design a little. The only problem I had with this was that one of the ice packs burst open. It was difficult finding a replacement for an ice pack that small but I found some. The newer feeders they sell have better ice packs so they have fixed the problem. My cat loves it and isn’t afraid of it. A lifesaver when I go to work because she is a senior cat and cannot eat hard food anymore. Ice packs last for about 4 hours. I bought a second unit which I’m going to try to rig on top of a thick blue ice block so it will keep the second unit cold for 8 hours. One more tip I always remove the batteries when I come home to save on battery power. It’s basically a clock timer so even though the lids pop open the battery is still running. It’s not a big deal to remove the batteries at the end of the day and put them back in the next morning.

Inaccurate Timer
It worked okay for a bit, the timer isnât super accurate, and it didnât take long for my cat to figure out how to open it whenever he wants. Maybe a good product if your cat isnât too smart

Easy to set up.. accurate!
I have gone through many pet feeders as I travel for work and I have cats. This is definitely my favorite! I prefer it to the digital much easier to set up and I feel like it’s even more accurate. Have not had any problems with it. I’m going to order a second one!

Itâs great, my mom doesnât have to drop everything to come home by 3 to feed her and give her her meds. And I donât have to wake up at 3 AM to feed her and give her her meds. She gets fed 5x with her meds. Donno why I didnât think of it before! Wouldâve been a more restful year. But now that Iâve been using it I simply love it!!!BUT. I WOULD LOVE THE BOWLS TO BE STAINLESS STEEL. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A SEPARATE BOWL I CAN PURCHASE?

Didnât work and starved my cat
Iâve had this for 2 weeks and today it just didnât open and starved my cat all day and she ended up eating one of my bath bombs cause she was so hungry. $1000 of vet bills later I really donât recommend this piece of crap! It was stupid to buy something cheap when your pet could go hungry all day if it stops working after 2 weeks. Also, no indicator for battery life so when the battery dies, your pet will definitely go hungry that day.

Itâs not bad. Iâd pick a bit better quality. Timer never stops so it sounds like a clock ticking all day see how long the battery last. Lid doesnât seal 100% pretty big gap on one side so if you did put wet food Iâm sure it would dry out fast and the animal will smell it and just try their best to get in
