Fun little Retro pixel display
Hello there! I fell in love with this gizmo when I first saw that it was a pixel displayð and offers pixel artists a place to apply their trade.Itâs a great decoration for any living room/workspace/game room as you can set the display for each environment.Some of the flaws are well highlighted in the 1 star reviews in that you will have to babysit the device as it has the tendency to crash. Usually a simple unplug and re plug will fix it. The slow reaction time also which I guess is a symptom of the 2.4gz wifi speed can be a lil bit of a pain.But even with the flaws, there is an entire world of artwork that can be put on this thingð so the picture potential is literally limitless. Theres 3 custom modes on the app that let you generate your own slideshows of art. I wish you could add more alas, but for now itâs just 3.

I wanted to post a positive review after owning a Pixoo64 for over a year. The color still looks good (see picture), and I use an app that displays 8 different screens, changing every 5 min. At night, I have set the brightness to low, which changes back to bright in the mornings around 8am. The app is ok, maybe not as intuitive as I would hope, but I found I don’t change many things once setup. I don’t use the app often. I could upload a logo I like, and it will also display it. I bought a second unit. I hung one on the wall, I put the other on a table top. I recommend supporting the cord with some tape to the back so it doesn’t pull on the connector. I contacted the company with an issue, and they quickly responded. I thought support was 5 stars.

Very cool product and great customer service
I had the smaller version for a long time and love it. To the point I gave it to a friend and bought the biggest version. 3 months after there was an issue with one of the pixels. I was expecting the experience with customer support to be “can you send it back”. Which is always a pain in the butt and just aggravating. They asked me to prove my order and prove the problem with the pixel so I sent a pic of the amazon order details and pics of the problem pixel. They just sent me a new one out immediately. Class A service… The product itself is just a fun piece of tech. The colors it can produce is actually quite impressive. I would definitely recommend. The only small gripe is that I think the app could be a touch better, but I know this can be difficult. The fact that people can create the artwork/animations they do on it is actually impressive.

very very cool display and super easy to use once you’re familiar with the app, forget what some others may say, it’s not difficult to set up or use the app, like anything there are a lot of features, which is a good thing, it just takes time to navigate and learn them all if you want to take full advantage of all of its features, not just use basic settings. I have it set up as you can probably tell to display family photos but can easily switch it for pre-programmable artwork of which there is a ton of, or I can literally create my own which I’m experimenting with and is really fun. It’s not the highest resolution because it’s 64 x 64 pixels, but that’s the point, it’s pixel art and again it looks really cool making for an excellent gift. I also got it for a believe 25% off plus another $22 clip and save so it was a good deal on top of it as I’ve been watching this model for a while now hoping it it would go on sale. Look into that Times Gate as well by Divoom, it’s probably my favourite accessory and is a little pricier than this device, but worth every penny as it is off the charts cool, and I’m 50 this year. it’s also designed to be tripod mountable upside down so the image can be reversed, and has two more tripod style mount on the bottom for similar reasons and comes with a kickstand of sorts so it can just lean back like a picture frame. No SD card slot as you will see in YouTube videos and on Google etc. but you don’t need it anyway as I believe it has internal storage as it works fine when my phone is not at home, or it’s simply working through Wi-Fi, I don’t know, either way it works. definitely well-built quality wise, solid unit and very well packaged as this is a highly regarded brand-name in the tech gadget industry so I didn’t expect anything less and I wasn’t disappointed because I love saving the boxes, especially once as nice as this and everything was very carefully packed neatly has to not be damaged etc. if you’re on the fence, just buy it he can always return it, it’s Amazon after all right?
