Easy to setup, if your pet is on a strict amount of food I recommend only one serving at a time
I received the device yesterday and quickly set it up. I didn’t run into any challenges with the setup or connection to the app and my wifi. It was a breeze.I then went on to check how the product worked. Couple of thoughts here, if your pet is on a strict amount of food I would recommend only one portion at a time and also test to make sure the full portion makes it into the dish. Within the app it has a setting of 1 – 10 portions of food. My dog gets 3/4 cup in the morning and 1/2 cup of her food at night. I measured and weighed out each portion and then dumped all of it in the container and played around with what setting to dispense at. Because of how the food is dispensed into the compartments to spin down into the bowl it varies on how much food is actually dispensed, now the variation is not a huge amount but can be a full ounce of food of variation. I ran through about 20+ tests playing with the amount of food to dispense in the container, what setting to choose for dispense and then how much was actually added to the bowl.For our purposes we only plan to use this if we aren’t home at feeding time and need to feed my dog at that time. I did find when I only have one serving of food in the container I have to run the cycle twice for all of her food to come out. Not a deal breaker just a note.Couple other mentions, the camera quality is very good. I tested the audio feature and two-way speaking. All of the above works very well. The app does give you the ability to program a time for food dispense which also worked wonderfully. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase but wanted to give others something to look out for regarding the food amount dispensed.

Durable, and Reliable. 3 months no issues
This is the second pet feeder I have owned, and I could not be any more satisfied. I needed a reliable outdoor feeder and after nearly 3 months of outdoor usage, I am pleased to write this review. Paired with a water dispenser, I am now able to leave my property for a beach weekend without worrying about my boys missing a meal. Fully programable meal times and portions (I set to max as the portions are tiny). The 2k cam is so crystal clear, it also doubles as a security cam, positioned to show front gate. There is a thieving cat that used to steal their food….oh not with this device. I see that little bugger try and try on cam but no food for you thief (not a fan of cats). The device has been rained on several times no problem, and the app is reliable and user friendly. I have used every size of kibble even the big sizes and never once jammed. I have 2 pitbulls and all size dogfood works. The one minus this device has is no window to view the food level, but guess what? The app tells you when it’s low….so I have absolutely no problems with my pet feeder. Super reliable, and never makes my boys miss a meal! Wansview is a reliable brand

This has worked WONDERS for my cat who prefers 4 small meals as opposed to two large ones each day.The one downside is that saving or viewing footage requires a membership. Which, in reality, is not a huge deal.Overall: Would absolutely recommend.

Iâve been using this automatic feeder for 3 weeks and am really happy with it, and my kitty too. She is on a strict diet of only 50 grams of food per day, which the smallest portion (1) served 5 times a day does wonderfully.What really surprised me is the variety of custom settings you can work with in the Camera App, the time and sensitivity of the motion detection, the size of the area youâd like the camera to monitor, just to name the few. And while you cannot adjust the direction of the camera to capture the food in the bowl, I can still see and hear my kitty munching clearly, and it is enough for me.The only âlimitationâ I found that I would personally like is to have more options to âscheduleâ the motion alert. You will only receive a motion alert with a 10 second video or an image (based on your choice) of your pet at the time of feeding if you have the alert notification scheduled, either for 24/7, which means youâll receive alert notification each and every time the camera detects a movement, or pre-set only 2 different schedules. If I am not home, and canât get to the phone right at the moment of the scheduled feeding time (5x a day), Iâd like to be able to see the recorded 10second video during the feeding time and have an access to it later. And this is probably possible if I would upgrade the subscription and pay a monthly fee (which you have the option to do if you want more than the basic). I do understand that the 24/7 motion detection alert is great for security, and I can probably just play around with it, so this is really only my preference of convenience, nothing I would deduct the âstarâ for.It also has a âchild lockâ button on the front below the camera, so the manual feeding/reset button and microphone button gets locked when activated. So my kitty, very smart kitty, cannot press that manual feeding button to feed herself, which I know she would eventually find out how to do. Right now she just keeps sticking her paw through the opening of the feeder hoping more food will come out – I can just hope she wonât break it.I was hesitating at first because it did not have many reviews and seemed to be a new product on the market, but I am very happy with it so far. And in full transparency the seller reached out to me to write a review in exchange for a small gift card, but this is an honest review based solely on my experience with it. I would not write this if I would not consider this to be a great product.
