Excellent for the price
I bought these for one of the nurses I work with at a nursing home. I was horrified when I saw her cutting someoneâs hair with craft scissors! These arenât top of the line by any means, but work very well (better than craft scissors) and came with lots of accessories. You really canât beat this for the price. They will serve your purposes well enough if you are cutting your own hair or once in a while cutting someoneâs hair, not using them all day every day.

I got it mostly for the thinning shears. They work beautifully! I have a background in hair, but, in light of my having a stroke, I can’t afford to go out to get my hair done. I love the design of the whole thing. These should hold up well. And, rounded points so I don’t stick myself!

I love this set! I purchased during Covid, they have saved me!!! The cut quality was awesome! Sharpness was on point, the look of the scissors and case is functional and conveniently placed. The comfort is great and scissors fit is perfect! I have small chubby hands and had no issues on handling the scissors. Great purchase for a beginner at home mom. I love this set⦠I would definitely recommend this set, Iâve still got my set and still love it.

Good kit
I cut my own hair and recently had someone use my hair siccors for paper cutting.this kit was better than i hoped. The razor comb is not good but both scissors are of good quality. Unlike my old pair these also come with a tool to keep them sharp.they dont need it off the bad but if someone uses them wrong at least you can fix them lol.

Had a mix up where they didn’t ship it on time and claimed I didn’t pay (I did – either they didn’t see it or the processing was delayed). I contacted them about it and they got it to me ASAP, so that was cool.I used to have some professional scissors from Japan when I lived in Asia. They were sharp, heavy duty, and very reliable for years. Those cost about $50 at the time. Years before that I had the cheap hair cutting shears from walmart with the plastic finger rings for like $10. I am not a professional or had any training, but cut my own hair or for others when we were expats and had trouble communicating our preferences at the time.Back in the US now and having to cut our own hair because of the shelter at home orders. This whole set has everything you need, except for the trimmer, for $30ish. Right off the bat, I knew it wasn’t as nice as the Japanese shears I had before. But I did appreciate how heavy duty they were. The swivel has a bit more resistance than I would prefer, but smooth. The weight and resistance is not comfortable for long term daily use, but it seems like it will last a long time. It wasn’t sharp enough, but not that dull either. Lightly sharpened it and it works great right away. Thinning shears, razor, comb, clips, cape, and cleaning cloth were actually better than the shears. If you want better shears that are professional, pay more. But this has the essentials we need for now. Would recommend you give the shears a little sharpening and adjust the swivel first. They are not great out of the box but have good potential if tweaked a little.Update – after using the shears a couple of times they basically stopped working. Itâs so dull that the hair gets pinched in between the blades without actually cutting. Furthermore it wonât sharpen after that. I have a feeling these are not the hard metal it claims to be. The rest of the set remains okay so far…
