I loved that the book was full of good pictures and descriptions on how to make different things with the string. It reminded me of when I was a child. My niece and I had lots of fun making memories and learning the different tricks with the cats cradle yarn.

Got this to try out for my 8 year old as I remember spending hours doing cats cradle as a kid. It came with the perfect string as well as clear step by step instructions with pictures. It also includes the teacup & saucer, witches broom, Jacobâs ladder, etc. My son was really proud of himself when he got the hang of it and loves it! Brought back a lot of memories for me!

Nice to buy some of these old school toys sometimes and watch the excitement of children’s minds. Although you can just get any piece of yarn and make it yourself, this came with a book which has pictures and ‘how to make’ other cats cradle shapes with your hands. Kept my little one busy for a while, she is 9 and often gets it out when she is bored so we can play. Bit expensive for what it is, but worth it in terms of the time she has spent playing with it.

I already have this book. This one is for a young friend who wants to learn string tricks and is learning English. The pictures are good and the English is fairly easy. I already have string for him made from paracord. I was expecting a used book in pretty good shape. The book is out of print, so I wasn’t expecting a brand new book, still with the string, but that is what I got and for a better price than the new copies in the US. Very happy.
