Update: The seller reached out and sent a replacement. The device has been sturdy. 5 out of 5 for customer service from the seller and the product.The locking latch to the headrest has also broken on mine by itself. Upon looking at some of the reviews, it seems to be a common failure on this device.The device itself is good when it works and holds itself together. It just needs a reinforcement to the locking mechanism.

Check your headrest bars geometry before ordering – good for straight bars only.
This mount did not work for me, not because it was faulty or poorly designed, but because my vehicle does not have straight bars for the headrest support. Instead, my 2015 GMC Acadia has an “s” shape where the bars exit the seat and all of the vertical and forward/back motion happens inside the headrest itself. Due to the geometry of the bars the mount would not fit. I am continuing my search for a tablet mount after returning this.Despite not fitting with my vehicle, this product seems to be of good quality. The spring for the mounting hooks is quite strong, I doubt you would even need the locking mechanism to keep it attached. The joints on the swing mechanism rely on friction instead of a lock to keep them extended or retracted; out of the box they are very stiff (good) but I don’t know how long they will last.I definitely would have been happy with this if it had fit my vehicle.

A must for road trips with little ones!
We purchased 2 of these for our little ones to have their own entertainment on summer road trips. I’m happy to report that after several months and several thousand miles visiting family, vacation, and just running errands, these holders are still working great! They have lots of adjustment length, strong springs to get the initial tension on the headrest and a good easy to manipulate clamping systems that holds onto the headrest studs securely. They clamp the tablet securely as well and with 180+ degrees of hinge range of motion and full 360 rotation with about 45 degrees of tilt and camber they are incredibly flexible. We have used them with various tablets in and out of sleek and robust cases and they work fine. Moreover, the front passenger can rotate the tablets all the way from the back seat to adjust settings, advance a show, or plug in the charger. One of the most used items in the vehicle and a must for road trips!

Loved it on our trip, went to use it is on a second and the small latch broke off
Worked great on a 700 mile trip in July. Took it down for a few months. Went to use it a second time today on a short trip and the small latch, as mentioned in other reviews, snapped off as I went to mount it again. It’s unfortunate as it is large enough for a small or large tablet (Samsung S8+ and a Samsung S6). I hoped to be able to use it for years to come.

Easy to install
We purchased a new car that did not have an option for a Rear Entertainment System. We needed something to hold a tablet to entertain the kids on long drives. (One of our kids thinks a 10 min drive is a lifetime…) We currently have a Samsung Tab S6 10.5″ tablet to use with this holders. It holds it fine and I think it would stretch up enough to fit a 10.5″ ipad with thick bumper on it. It is super easy to install onto the front headrest, you can do it one handed. Come off and goes on in seconds. It turns from landscape to portrait mode smoothly.

First off, I am impressed with the quality and build of this device as I wasn’t expecting too much for an under $30 item. This is compared to the official BMW tablet holders for sale at their dealerships that cost well over $200. I just needed a simple tablet/phone holder for my 9 year old daughter so that she can watch/play on her device while in the car for extended drives. It is very easy to install right out of the box and it is definitely sturdy and secure enough to hold a tablet or phone without worrying about it falling.My favourite feature of this holder is the extendable arm that can place the tablet/phone in the middle of the back seats so that the screen can be shared if necessary.Great product and I would highly recommend it!

Die Tablethalterung ist sehr stabil und leicht zu Montieren. Passt z.B. im Golf 7. Wenn man das Tablet in der stabilen Klemme leicht asymmetrisch fest macht, ist das Tablet fast in der Mitte und Dank der Einstellmöglichkeiten zwei Kindern gut zu sehen. Für breitere Autos / Vans müsste der Arm etwas länger sein, damit Tablet mittig im Fahrzeug ist.Halterung ist sehr stabil und es wackelt nichts, würde sie wieder kaufen.
