Silky and abosorbent
I really love this hair wrap! I discovered it when borrowing my sister-in-law’s on a trip. While I don’t have the full, curly hair that drew her to this, it still works for my long, straight hair. First, about hair towel wraps in general: I’m not one of those girly-girls who uses a bunch of styling tools or products, but this has become one of my must-have items! My sister (who IS one of those girly-girls) gave me one she got in a subscription box and since I have really long hair, I thought maybe it would be useful keeping my hair out of my way after I get out of the shower. It has proven to be way more useful than I ever imagined… I honestly don’t know how I lived without this before! It’s so much more convenient than wrapping my hair up in a big bulky towel that doesn’t stay in place, and it absorbs water but keeps my hair damp enough that I can still work with it if I don’t get to it right away after washing.Now about this specific brand… I did try a different brand that I got from Santa Claus, but it sucked so I went on the hunt for another Kitsch brand wrap (which I found here on Amazon for a lower price than the Kitsch website). The elastic makes these really easy to use and the fabric is soft and absorbent (unlike the microfiber one I had). I do have one small complaint and that’s the tag. It’s super scratchy because it’s glittery, and in a really inconvenient place where it rubs and irritates my skin. I solved the problem by carefully removing the tag with a seam ripper, but it would be nice to not have to do that. (Deducted one star for this inconvenience.)Tips for use: My hair is a little longer than the wrap, but I just sort of fold my hair over itself inside the wrap before twisting and it seems to work fine. It does take a little bit of practice to figure out how to use this easily, so give it a few tries before you decide it’s not for you.

My first microfiber towel to nurse my hair to a healthier state. It came in a really nice usable pouch that was meant for you to use if you ever traveled so I thought that was very thoughtful! I handwashed it before using it (it says not to machine wash) and when it dried, I would say it’s not as soft as when it first came but it was still a huge upgrade from cotton towels.When I used it, my first thought was I could never go back because it cut my drying time in half and left my hair feeling so soft. I left the towel on for maybe 20mins and left to air dry and it dried in no time (mid length hair, kinda thin though).Overall, if you’re looking to start using microfiber towels as part of your hair cair routine, I highly recommend. It’s cute, came thoughtfully packaged, and it actually works.P.S have 4 stars for the comfort just because I find that it feels tight around my ears . I also wear glasses so I needed to push up the towel above my ears (making it tight there) so I could put my glasses on.
