The bottom is sealed
She got in this bed the next day! Settled right in. I couldnât find anything in the description or any of the reviews about it being sealed all around, only referring to the sides so I thought I would include that fact in this review. Seems well made and kitty seems to like it.

Good for limited space
The catbed/scratcher is a little on the small side but my baby seems to wedge himself in there just fine. Heâs about 11-12 lbs and even though it doesnât look like heâd fit when itâs empty, it seems to work. He was happy just having a towel down but this gives him a little support for his head so I like it more. Itâs not very deep and not very long or wide. I have a lounger also and thought about getting another one but Iâll probably rotate. The cardboard seems durable but maybe not the best shape for scratching though the other kitty likes it as a scratcher. If you have a smaller kitty I think lining it with a towel might make it even more comfy.

Too small for bigger cats
It was smaller than I expected for two of my bigger cats. (The online pictures show kittens in the bed, which I hadn’t noticed.) Having said that, I found that sprinkling a little catnip on it did not deter them from squeezing their sizable bodies into its smaller frame! It’s a little pricey at $17.99, otherwise I’d easily buy another one, even though it’s a little too small.

Perfect Lounger!
Our kitty is obsessed with this cat bed. She scratches it during play time and loves to lounge and sleep in it throughout the day. She is petite at around 7 lbs and fits perfectly.

Cute scratcher but doesnât stay in place during use
The cat wants to use this but one attempt at scratching and it is too unstable, lifts up and moves. If I can figure out how to stabilize it would be great – nice shape, color and strong material.

All three of our cats love these scratch beds. It is really cut down on their desire to scratch things like carpets and furniture, which is a no-no. We will be buying on a regular basis.
