AMAZING!!! They will change your life!
These blue light blocking glasses have been a complete game changer for me. I spend long hours in front of a computer and started getting terrible pain behind my eyes and headaches almost every time I would have to stare at a screen. I did some research and purchased these.I use these consistently- when looking at my phone for more than a few minutes, when I watch TV, and any time I am on my computer – and NO MORE EYE PAIN.These are comfortable and barely change the color at all. I’m extremely picky when I buy sunglasses, and I love the way these look on my face.Product Description: These Gunnar Optiks Intercept glasses came in a white, cloth-type bag for cleaning and storing purposes. The bag got dirty within the first day of use, so be mindful of where you put it. My dog decided to eat the bag anyway, so I pitched it and bought a simple glasses-cleaning cloth. These plastic rim glasses have a yellow tint with a slight magnification that is noticeable when you first put them on. The lenses of the glasses are extremely easy to smudge, however they are pretty scratch resistant (Knock On Wood!). I have dropped these glasses on multiple surfaces like concrete, wood, and carpet. I have also accidentally left them in my car in 80 degree weather. So far, so good. These glasses are pretty tough. The lenses are big enough to wear over smaller, square wire-frames so if you have glasses for vision you can still wear these over them. Just have a cloth to wipe them off and maybe some spray, and you’ll be fine.Case: These do not come with a hard case. I believe the company allows you to buy one, but I just bought a sunglasses case from TJ Maxx, which fits them perfectly.Quality: These are NOT cheap-feeling glasses. They are fairly sturdy, have a matte finish that doesn’t get sweaty or sticky, and don’t creak. I expect them to last for years.Functionality: When I wear these for long periods of time while using the computer, my headaches are reduced by at least 80%, especially those caused by eyestrain. GREAT JOB BATTLING LCD EYE FATIGUE
If you sit in front of multiple LCD displays for 8+ hours a day like me, these may help with eye fatigue. I was really struggling a few months ago, and my Optometrist recommended OTC eye drops like “Blink” and good quality blue-blocking set of eyeglasses. He also said stepping outside (for 5 min or so) and away from artificial light helps too. Right after he told me that I walked out of his office and bought some drugstore models for $10. They worked OK but were really flimsy. I did some research and found that these Gunnars were highly recommended on gaming forums. I bought a pair from amazon and right away I could tell the difference: 1)they blocked more of the “artificial” light and made my eyes feel like I was in natural light source. 2) the frames were more solid and stiff…conformed to my face/head better. 3) they felt more durable and professional compared to my $10 drugstore pair.Why not 5 stars? 1) they look kind of dorky as they are “big” on your face, but I suppose this is how they are able to block more stray light. I keep them at my desk in my office but I take them off when I go a meeting or out for lunch. 2) good luck keeping them clean, the cloth sack they come with does an OK job cleaning them daily but I am very afraid I’m going to eventually scratch these matte plastic lenses beyond repair.

Hoy me ha sorprendido ver que hace cinco años que las compré y todavÃa las uso (mucho más en invierno, con los dÃas cortos, que en verano).Filtran un 65% de la luz azul nociva, que no es lo máximo, pero a cambio tienes mÃnima distorsión del color, cosa que para ver la tele por la noche antes de ir a dormir, es muy cómodo.Quizá la única pega es las +0,2 dioptrÃas que tiene, cuando no las necesitas. Pero tampoco es algo realmente malo.Las volverÃa a comprar una y cien veces, sin duda.

I bought them for my gamer boyfriend who constantly had headaches when he was on the computer. We knew his vision was perfect so we assumed that it was the computer that gave him headaches, so he decided to give these glasses a try. I’m happy to tell you that my boyfriend’s headaches nearly disappeared since he uses these glasses, and he still loves them a year later.
