This is an awesome lamp! It was very easy to put together. I love the many functions of the lights. You can change the colors, the light sequences. You can easily set a mood for a romantic evening, a pamper yourself night or just to brighten up a room. It is great for a party. You can sync it to music and have your own disco. I have received so many compliments. It’s very slim and doesn’t take up a lot of space. It captures the attention of our guests immediately. I love that I can control the functions from the remote and/or the app. I don’t even have to remember to turn it off as you can set a timer on it. It is loaded with so many features!!! It is reasonably priced for all of its functions, and I definitely recommend purchasing this. I’m thinking about purchasing a second one for our guest bedroom. I like this light because it will not force me to use the app. There are too many apps for everything nowadays. Assembly was easy. It can be assembled without the instruction.The light rod is made of plastic which give cheap touch feel. But who cares, as once you set up the light, no one cares about if the rod is made of plastic or metal. It stands straight and looks nice enough for me.As for the remote, it’s bit confusing and the attached manual does not explain well. You just have to play around and find out details of AUTO, MODE, etc.The “White” light is actually very warm white (like yellow). Near day light white color exists, but it’s actually close to very light blue/purple. I think to have day light white, you need to use the app (which I will not try).

I mean, let me try to make this a simple as possible. I love the concept and they are super lightweight and easy to put together. They come with one remote, I put one in the living room and another in our bedroom. The app tries to control both at one time, and, when you try to turn them off instead of them being from a white light setting and just going straight off, they turn a different color first and then you have to press the power button again on the app and then they turn off. Itâs quite frustrating. I wish it would just turn off with one click because every time I turn it back on I have to change it back to white. If you have time to mess with the app or the remote that I say get them! But in my opinion, the app is a little faulty and could use some work. They are the perfect size, they look very nice and they are relatively sturdy! I canât say if I would order more or not, the app situation is quite frustrating for me honestly so that alone may keep me from purchasing more of them, unfortunately.

I was curious and listen to a lot of music was my home office desk in what was a small spare bedroom. It works as described, the remote control does what it says, well labelled and intuitive. when changing more complex options, various combinations, speeds, brightness levels and pulsing to music options can be combined, It can take a short time as the built in controller initiates your choices but it’s no big deal. this isn’t a unit intended for a professional DJ or light show artist, so if that’s what you want, a deeper wallet will be necessary. But for home use, it’s fine and you can control mood, colour combinations, speed, brightness and how it tracks the music’s beat if you have some playing. It’s again home use. will work fine for home parties, tho many would likely want two lamps for at least two corners of a room… I bought one. They don’t show up well in broad daylight but who’d expect them to? they are designed to reflect the colours off the wall surfaces… if a really dark cloudy day (or total eclipse as I recently experienced where I live (got lucky) the lights did work better than usual for a few minutes. Totality flies by fast.I’ve played around with the options a lot but find most of the time I just want relatively calm, gentle mood creation, tho the faster and fancier stuff can be handy to have. So have fun. the power cord is about six feet… but if you need more, no problem using a standard extension cord, as for anything else.
