Love these pans so much!!!
Food just wonât stick on these pans, hot water is pretty much all you need to clean up, using soap is basically to kill any germs or bacteria. Oil isnât needed but I still use for flavor. Iâve done eggs, pasta, mash potato, and steak, and theyâve impressed me every time. 100% recommend. They even look stunning, would display them if I had a rack for the set.

Not quite what I thought
I have to admit the black and gold combination on these pans was part of what attracted me. I also was interested in the several layers of non-stick surface. Strangely the surface is rougher than what I imagined, but does feel thick. I noticed when I was washing them, water just beads and runs off both the inside and outside which I took as a good sign.I made up some spaghetti sauce and meatballs in the saucepan to try it out. The pan took longer than my cheaper aluminum pans to warm up, but once it did, it held temperature and I was able to turn the burner down to the lowest setting to maintain and the sauce was cooked through. For anyone wondering, these pans do work on an induction cooktop. The glass covers are especially nice fitted with both large and small holes to strain water, grease etc.. When moving the sauce to a bowl, I was surprised by how quickly it poured out of the saucepan and didn’t stick. Even after leaving the pan for hours on the counter and coming back to dried on, sticky tomato sauce, clean up was a breeze. I just added some water and soap and it came off with a sponge. No soaking required.The only issues I have with this set is it states on this page the smallest sauce pan is one and a half quart. It’s actually only a one quart sauce pan which is too small even for a single person. And the twelve inch fry pan should have taller sides so it could do double duty as a saute pan which is the one piece sorely lacking here. Change these things and this would be a five star set of cookware.

Nice Cookware; exactly as described
I’m giving this cookware a five-star rating, because it is and does exactly what it says it is and does. It’s an attractive and heavy set, with the colored handles and very dark finish to the cookware. The items I’ve cooked so far do release from the pan, but not appreciably more or better than my other cookware sets. Still, it’s nice to have handy because I do tend to cook quite a bit.There are a couple of things I’d change, but let me reiterate: these are suggestions – nothing I am going to downgrade for.The lids are nice but have metal handles. They get hot. A rubberized handle would help a lot.The handles on the sides of the pots have the very same problem. I tend to, when I’m letting an item cook, rest my silicone small spatulas inside the pan and the handles (mostly wood) against the pan’s handle. That said, it is a hazard on my stove because it’s a gas cooktop. Too easy for the wooden handles to catch on fire. I don’t have this problem with cookware that doesn’t allow the heat to come up through the handle.The instructions say this cookware is dishwasher safe, BUT if you use cleaners in your dishwasher that have citric acid (which I definitely do), the cookware could become discolored. I’m hoping not to find out about that!Final disappointment: the first thing I saw when I opened the box was the requirement to arbitrate any disputes. SURELY there’s nothing here that I’d feel the need to litigate over. Keeping my fingers crossed on that, but it does leave kind of a bad taste….so, depending on how you use it, this can be a very good set!

No luck with Induction
The manufacturer claims this cookware set is induction compatible. I certainly did not find this to be true. Only one pot out of the set worked on my GE Profile Induction range. I bought a cookware set from another manufacturer and all pots & pans in that set work perfectly well. I’d look elsewhere if you’re shopping for an induction set.

Nice quality and selection
I ordered the Granitestone 14 pc induction cookware set pots and pans to replace our old worn-out pots and pans. I have had my set of pots and pans for over 15 years and the non-stick surface on them had pretty much worn off and they were in bad shape and needed to be retired. We had been keeping an eye out and various pots and pan sets and decided to give this set a try. So far, we have been very happy with the Granitestone cookware set and the pots and pans have been working very well for us. We have been much better and hand washing these pans even though they are dishwasher safe, we want to extend the life of these. We are also making sure that we are only using vinyl or other non-scratch utensils with these. We are very happy with the pots and pans and like the variety of sizes and lids that came with the set.
